Once again the staff at this resort exceeded expectations. The food was good and our room was excellent. Special thanks to Flor and Manuel our waiter and bartender for making sure our needs were met while at the pool, Elliot and Andrea with activities for getting us lazy beach bums up and playing volleyball in the sand and last but not least to Pavel our butler for making all our reservations and making sure everything was going smoothly during our stay.

Hotel's Favourite
I was looking for a relaxing first trip to Mexico and found it in the quiet serenity of Paradisus Cancun. I upgraded my room to a junior suite and received the benefit of "The Reserve" amenities, including all the perks of an all-inclusive, an upgraded room, cabana rental, adults-only pool area, AND a personal concierge (Rafael). My room had a beautiful ocean view, comfy bed, walk in shower with rain showerhead, and a gorgeous soaker tub. Rafael took care of my reservations: dinner, spa, and antigen testing. He ensured my minibar was stocked with my favorite beverages and provided gracious and helpful service throughout my stay. He also stayed connected to check on me in case there were anything additional I needed. Dinner each day was a treat but my favorite dinner spot was Mole, where the entree of roasted pork leg was only upstaged by the dessert (coconut cream with chocolate crumble). A close second would be Capella which served a tiramisu that was beyond delicious. Yes, I ate dessert at every meal. :) Now for the negatives: I did not enjoy the breakfast buffet. Thankfully there were so many other options for food throughout the day and night that it did not dampen my overall enjoyment of the resort. Check-in took quite a bit longer than I expected. It was a little confusing not knowing where to stand (or sit) while waiting for someone to assist me, but someone eventually came over and let me know that there were two other groups ahead of me. Also, one of the staff came and offered me a beverage while I waited to check in (now THAT is what I like to see - lol). Just a word of advice: be sure to bring plenty of smaller bills for gratuities. The staff are super attentive and you want to be sure to reward them for that premium service.

I decided to purchase the RESERVE room, when I booked my Family trip, based on the description on the site. Did not get any of the services offered. Only 2 dinner reservations, which in all honesty, I couldve made. Not able to reserve an area at the Pool as told I would be, so we fended for ourselves. would call for services, and was bounced around. Our Butler was difficult to contact via whatsapp, took long. She offered us a meeting with one of the Sales people there, they upsell memberships i guess, but would require 1 hour in the morning, which we kindly declined. after that, unresponsive and she was on a day off one of the days we were there and did not offer an alternate contact. Eddie in Capella restaurant and Enrique and Flora at the pool however, were amazing! Nice looking hotel, but will skip the higher pricetag.

Ok so I booked a package to stay at this hotel for a family vacation in October 2021. We had the lagoon view. Overall I had a great stay here. There are always some pros and cons. The first thing I would like to say is they have to do a little better with the check in process. They had us walking back and forth saying it would be quicker going to one check in desk over the other. It actually took a little longer than expected. I must say the lady that checked us in definitely helped with our accommodations. Now my other compliant with check in was no one gave us tour or breaking down of the resort. We had to figure it ourselves. The room I had was great. My moms room, not so much there is a tree that needs to be cut down right in front of their terrace view. The shower curtains are sort of weird as well but I loved that it was a tub for my daughter. Now the great part of the resort was the staff, the food, and the activities. Oscar Valsquez at the front desk Amazing I will never forget him. The staff that worked the Malva (the food is pretty good we ate their often) the Nurbi,Alfredo Alvaro, Arturo, David. Oh and the DJ that played there every night was supper nice. There are so many nice and hardworking staff members that work here. They had activities every night we stayed. Room service was great 24hours. I had an issue with my safe, but they took care of that immediately. I feel they should play a variety of music at the pool. I love that the staff come down to the beach area to bring you your food and beverages. Oh they need to get a Golf Cart to take guest Down to the exit of the resort the stairs are a lot to handle. A suggestion is to have a TacoTuesday Night. I just knew they would have one for guest. The Covid test was quick and easy I’m grateful they provide that on the resort. The resort is very clean. Oh and the violinist at Mulva was so talented. The kiddie pool shouldn’t be so far from the adult pool. Overall, I had good time and I would recommend the hotel.

A friend of fifty years and I spent a weekend in Cancun at the Paradisus. We had a great time, with good food and service. Just to mention a few of the people we were impressed by Jose, Josua, Alfredo, Norbia and Olympa. There were many others that I can't remember and almost everyone went over and above to make our stay memorable.
