Hotel Del Sol is located in Cancun but not in the downtown (centro) area, which is what my friend and I appreciated. It is located in Puerto Juarez, right across from the ferry which takes people to Isla de la Mujeres. Because it is in a port, a lot of the restaurants in the area almost exclusively contain sea food....

It is a perfect place to stay if you need to go to Isla Mujeres, you just have to cross the road to reach the ferry terminal. If you want to live the night of Cancún, you are way out of it (but still you are a short taxi ride away). For the rest it is a simple hotel, clean,...

This is not a romantic hotel for honeymooners. My boyfriend and I booked one night here before taking a ferry to La Isla. For this, the hotel served a perfect purpose. The ferry across the street doesn't work, but there is one that is a 4 block walk from the hotel that works. Friendly staff, cheap and simple breakfast, convenience...

You can't be closer to the ferry to Isla Mujeres. It was noisy but for that price, I do not complain. Room was small but clean, with air conditioning, staff friendly and breakfast basic (omelet) but good. Ideal for short stay.

Stayed based on positive reviews as came into Cancun late and we're taking ferry in the morning to Isla Mujeres. Beware, it is NOT across from the new ferries. That is several blocks down the road. Not a bad walk if you have light luggage. Bath and floors were clean, bedspread was gross and no other blanket so forced to...

The hotel is across the street from the Isle Mujeres Ferry which is perfect. We stayed just one night, which suited our needs. It was clean and cool and had internet and a printer in the lobby as well as wi-fi in the rooms. However, the beds were the worst. If you like luxury camping or hard beds, this is...

By no means a "luxury" hotel, but we stayed there for one night before going to Isla Mujeres and it more than met our needs, plus it was very inexpensive. However, they had two very hard single beds in our room; just telling it like it is. Ferry to Isla just across/down the street.

To be fair i mention right at the beginning that this "hotel" is OK for 1 night, it is clean. I booked it via booking.com where it was listed among 3 start hotels which is simply not true. If you came to Cancun for vacation, then use the hotels or resorts in the hotel zone, you can choose from so...

We stayed for 1 night and paid 30 usd on booking. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We wanted a hotel close to the ferry to isla Mujeres where we were going next morning. This was perfect cause it is right in front of the hotel. They offered us breakfast for 40 pesos which...
