Not a 5 star experience

I never write reviews but feel it it is a must for future travelers considering Le Blanc. Lets start with the PROS: beautiful beach and pools, grounds are immaculate! We reserved a Honeymoon suite which was nice as well but with only 1 sink wasn't really luxurious and a bit cramped. The French and Italian restaurants were delicious as well. The butler was very helpful in making reservations etc. CONS: most of the guests are 55 +, just something to consider if you are a younger couple. The service was very sloooow for drinks and food at Yama and Teraza. We have stayed at other resorts in Cancun and never have encountered this problem. 15 minutes for a simple margarita/mojito I feel is ridiculous. The portions of the food as well were very small and take forever to come. For the price you pay per night at this resort it is definitely not worth it. They asked multiple times is we are celebrating something, which we were, but never acknowledged it in any way. We will be returning next time to Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach as the service, food, suite are all superior.…

The Perfect Holiday

This was our first stay at Le Blanc and we were blown away by the service and attention to detail that they provide. We were celebrating an anniversary and Le Blanc was the perfect choice! Our Butlers, Saul and Cesar, went out of their way to make sure we were very comfortable, from unpacking our luggage to arranging dinners, getting medication from a pharmacy to running the perfect bath( with rose petals, chocolates and champagne)! The restaurants were all very good but we especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant. We ate there 3 times with waiter,Jaun, going out of his way to make sure each meal was served to perfection. Chef, Rene, received highest accolades as he suggested and made me special dishes to accommodate my food allergies. He would come to the table several times to check to see if all was well. He surprised us with a special meal designed around my food needs for our Anniversary and topped the meal off with a special chocolate flower dessert! The service and attention was over the top and we thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Anna Maria, the receptionist at the restaurant was fabulous too. Kudos to the pool concierge, Carlos, Laura and Lucinda for always being so attentive and always making us very comfortable. Lucinda your cool face compresses and neck massages were heavenly! Regina in the spa gives a really good massage too. All the staff are so friendly and work very hard to please. The beach is wonderful, the water is clean, views are spectacular and the pools are warm and inviting. There is some entertainment but not much which was fine for us. If you want a holiday to refresh and rejuvenate you, le Blanc is the place! We can hardly wait to go back!…

Still Wonderful!

Just got back with 2 other couples from a 5 day stay. Have been twice before but this is the first since the renovations. They did a wonderful job. Rooms all have touch light switches ,new flat screens and the Le Blanc app works well to book spa and dinner reservations. All decor and furniture are new as well. What still makes Le Blanc special is the staff. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay as special as possible. Jair on the beach, butlers and the hard working wait and bar staff are excellent. There is never a time you wait on anything, it’s amazing as difficult as it is on the beach to not only receive constant drinks but also full blown meal service and constant refilling of ice to keep drinks cool. South Beach could take a lesson from them. We really enjoyed Bella the Italian restaurant as well. The staff takes time to get to know you and nothing is too much to ask for. The place is spotless and very chill. Mainly crowd over 45 except for some honeymooners. We enjoyed meeting Rebecca the hotel manager. She is a constant fixture on the grounds and was always talking to us and asking how we were enjoying ourselves. She is a credit to her profession. If you want personal attention with a caring staff in a elegant and spotless facility, you will not be disappointed with Le Blanc.…

Be spoiled at this great place

The resort has been refurbished and looks great. The ladies at the pool Lucinda and Laura are back and excellent as ever. The bar area has been expanded and every evening there is a performer which is great, there is entertainment at night at Cavo which is the disco. The Terraza which only used to be open during the day is now open in the evening for dinner and they serve the steaks there. The Blanca (buffet during day) is now fully mexican food for dinner. The French, Italian and Japanese are still there and good. You don't get a print out of the activities delivered to your room any longer, you are asked to download the App and view them online. Unfortunately the App kept crashing even though I did download a few times, so not all that great. Doesn't seem like there are as much activities as there used to be. The spa is still excellent! This resort is excellent, it is adults only, and you do get spoiled if you want to enjoy time at the beach and pool the property is excellent for that. The staff are all excellent and they do look after everyone, you can't go wrong with staying here.…

Relaxing and Kidless

If your looking for loud music, loud partying, people splashing you by the pool DONT stay here.....but if your looking for a quiet, peaceful place and listening to spa like music this is the place. We stayed at the Moon several times before and this place is the place for us slightly older people. Bartenders Humberto and Elias were the best for us as our favorite waiter Eduardo was the best we ever had. Up on the 3rd floor Jose Ignado would make you a special drink, deliver it, and make sure you were comfortable by the pool....

Are there vegetarian options at all of the restaurants

Still awaiting a response from the GM’s office re. a 16 night return visit in a room with balcony in March. Haven’t even received an ‘out of office’ message since the GM’s assistant’s response yesterday. Perhaps LeBlanc don’t want us back? We accept we may have to move rooms as there are few balcony rooms on site. LeBlanc would be our 1st choice, but perhaps we need to investigate other options...

There are very few balcony’s there. More Juliet style sliding glass doors. Why not spread ur vacation into 2 resorts ? U may be so bored after that long

How do I contact the General Manager? I reside in the UK which seems to be complicating matters. I have just had the most wonderful 15 night stay at the hotel. However, I am now having issues booking another 16 night stay in a Royale Governor Suite in March. I tried contacting the wonderful Miriam, but I realised that she is the F & B manager, and this is out of her remit. Please can you help me with this, otherwise I will need to return to another resort in the Cancun area, which we stayed at previously.

do the honeymoon ocean front rooms have the same amenities as the rest? I noticed they don't list butler service on the website for the honeymoon rooms.

Yes - I just returned from there in a Honeymoon room and there was a butler. I didn’t need a ton from them, but he did shine my shoes, filled the giant bathtub so it would be ready when we got back from dinner, and swapped the red wine in our room for cava.
