The Roos are clean we had booked a triple which only had 2 beds we were offered a room with a bed settee but decided to stick to the two double beds. Staff friendly and helpful though to be honest we were out most of the time. Excellent breakfast no need to eat all day. Distance from centre 5 minute...

You'll feel you've stepped back into the Renaissance - as a king! Historic, tasteful, simple, impeccably clean, and with all the comforts you could wish. All staff was amazing. I think there's motion detectors across the doors - the maids darted in as soon as we headed off for breakfast, when we came back, voila - room all done, and...

The hotel Parador Margarita was a few blocks walk from the centre of San Cristobal de Las Casas, and so worth it. The open courtyard garden is stunning and it is so relaxing to sit in the shade at the tables. The wifi is pretty good. The breakfast is very tasty. The rooms are spacious, very clean and just fantastic!...

This is a lovely little hotel with a gorgeous bathroom and courtyard. It's clean and chic. The room has a tv, and the hotel has a pretty courtyard garden, though I wish that some of the garden could be given over to a nice little heated pool. The location is pretty good, in that it's only a couple of streets...

We really liked this hotel it had a nice private courtyard surrounded by two levels of tile rooved rooms. Off street parking was extremely handy as was location of hotel for walking to centre of town. We never ate in the restaurant during our three night stay. We didn't need heating or cooling but no option for either in rooms...

We have stayed at Hotel Parador Margarita a few times over the years and have always had a very positive experience. A previous reviewer, Daniel, had concerns about the safety of the hotel. First of all, the hotel is made of adobe, not wood, so it's not going to burn easily. Also, most older places in San Cristobal have open...

This place is generally clean, nice staff and pretty. But>> MAJOR problem is there are NO EMERGENCY EXITS DESPITE FAKE EVACUATION SIGNS! They lock the exit at night and you CANNOT GET OUT without first going to the desk and asking the receptionist to let you out!!! EVEN IF THERE IS A FIRE OR OTHER EMERGENCY!!! I noticed this because...

Nice and cozy little hotel. Very clean. It is located about three blocks away from downtown which makes it quite but close to stores and cafes. Rooms are spacious (we are a family of four). Breakfast is offered so we were ready to go every morning.

In San Cristobal, for a decent night's sleep, you must not stay too near the central plaza. Parador Margarita was a good value and nicely situated in the Historic Centro with access to all areas of the city, and on a quieter street. We were able to walk to the Mercado and sites. A note about San Cristobal de las...
