This is my second time staying here. The floorplan was changed dramatically from four years ago. I was expecting a private room on the second level, but since changes were made my room was on on the ground floor. It is a bit noisy since it faces the common area courtyard. Additionally, guests smoke out there. The breakfast was much...

The staff in this Hostel impressed me with their hospitality and great knowledge of the whole area when they guided me the way to the Guatemala consulate. And if you have Hostelling International membership card you can get some discount for your bed rate. The only downside for me was the two shower rooms of the first floor have a big...

Good solid hostel, nice central courtyard where it's easy to meet people. Internet was pretty good, rooms were spacious enough, and the location was perfect, only a few blocks from the zocalo. The roof terrace is a bonus for anyone who wants to continue the party after 11pm, as it was far enough away from the rooms that noise was...

Great hostel with a lovely courtyard and places to chill out. Staff were helpful & happy to offer advice / make reservations etc. Breakfast of coffee, fruit and toast included too. We had a large simple double room with a private bathroom with hot water.

Toilet&shower need a lot of improvement - the look terrible, not clean, and downstairs there is only boiling water with low pressure stream that goes mainly on the wall. Rooms have no privacy as all windows face the main shared area and kitchen. Kitchen was well equipped but without washing soap. Breakfast was very basic.

The hostel is only a short walk away from downtown Oaxaca, so there´s no need to get a cab or colectivo, so that was very nice. I liked our room as well, although it only had a small window facing the reception (but, on the other hand, that meant no noise). Breakfast was really good and is served in a...
