A group of friends stayed here and since it was only 7 rooms we were able to rent out the whole hotel. It was the best customer service experience. They only minor detail was the hot water. I should have told them about it but sometimes in the morning the water would not be hot. Would stay here again if...

My husband and I spent one week at Casa de Siete Balcones. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had a very high ceiling with a sun roof. Bathrobes were provided and the towels were changed daily and replaced artfully. The weather was very warm and humid while we were in Oaxaca and we were happy to have an...

We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel in the Suspido room. A large and comfortable room. All the stay were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location close to the zócalo and Santo Domingo. The courtyard was very pleasant for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was my first visit to Casa de Siete Balcones and I would certainly return. The building and hotel and charming, with lovely patios, plants, art in the public spaces. Our room (Reencuentro, #3) was beautiful as well. The staff was very friendly. We were offered complimentary mezcal upon arrival, chocolates on the pillows, and a lovely breakfast included in...

There have been a lot of varied reviews about this hotel. Here is my opinion on a weeklong stay in Reencuentro (Room #3) in early March: There are 3 outstanding things about this hotel. First is the location. The hotel is on the main pedestrian street in the center of Oaxaca. The Zocalo, or main square, that is one of...

We knew that we would really like this hotel before we even arrived. Having never travelled to Mexico before, and requiring bus tickets when we departed Oaxaca, try as we might, were unable to book online. We contacted the hotel prior to our departure from the UK. They very kindly booked our tickets for us and they were ready for...

We stayed Feb 16-19, 2016. The overall room in the erudito suite was spacious. We had a king bed, twin and a sofa for the my son. The hotel was accommodating us with the extra sofa for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. That made it easy for them to go to bed versus if they shared a...

The hotel is in a beautiful old building with an interior courtyard full of plants and fountain. Our room on the second floor was lovely with high ceilings with wooden beams, old armoire for clothes and TV screen, balcony (a little noisy so shut the doors and turned on the overhead fan), comfortable bed and bathroom with good shower. The...

This hotel enjoys a great location a few blocks from the Zocalo. The property is brightly painted with a charming inner courtyard and waterfall. The rooms are large, although putting a couch in my bedroom and calling it a "suite" is somewhat specious. My stay was marred by missteps, from no water for the shower to a dirty bedroom floor....
