A very memorable hostel in a nice location. There is a lovely kitchen, with lots of room to cook and a marketplace situated close, so it's perfect to pick up somefresh goods from the market and cook fresh food. The lobby has an interesting open ceiling, great for just hanging around. The rooms were a bit dark, could have been...

Good location, staff fairly friendly, but amenities/condition are quite run down/neglected. Cracking paint, very dirty under the beds (full of dust bunnies, so when u store your backpack underneath it comes out covered in dust). Bathrooms are pretty run down, leaky at times, though not the worst for Latin American hostels. The hammocks and cats lounging around are cute. Still,...

It was great to be here with fountain in the middle, relax music in the mornings and nice breakfast too. Location is very practical. Very organized and clean. You can enjoy the hammocks in a nice environment.

Looks like a hostel with yard and hammocks but feels like a prison. 3 levels of front doors, scary loud door bell, dorm room you have to slam to close and open every time with a key, extremely rude owner, 60 pesos after checkout charge even just to store bags, 50 pesos key deposit, 15 pesos tower rental, not allowed...

If you can, find another place. On the morning of my check out, at 7 o'clock I have brought in a friend, who has arrived by night bus from Mexico City. As it was still early, we agreed to hang around in the hostel for 2 hours, before heading out together to San José del Pacifico. We both were certain...

We stayed 2 nights in this hostel and it was a good experience in general. GOOD - great location, close to the zocalo - nice courtyard with 2 hammocks to relax - kitchen well equipped - breakfast - very nice staff TO IMPROVE - there's only 1 WC in the common area and 1 in the dormitory of 8ppl. It...

We spent almost a week at Luz de Luna and it was a great home for us in Oaxaca. We stayed in a private room and our friend took a dorm bed. Our room was huge with two spare beds and an adjoining toilet which gave us lots of space to spread our gear out. The double bed in room...

Good location, close to the zocalo. Affordable if you are on a budget.. includes breakfast (toast jam etc) wifi and hot showers! Perfect for a short stay, beds weren't very comfortable and the toilet in the rooms had no roof so not a lot of privacy. But apart from that we had a pleasant stay!

It was my second visit in Oaxaca City. I chose this hostel because it is 130$ and in previous one I paid 150$ and Im traveling on a budget. However as Im trying to explain here I just had the worst hostel experience, and because they charge you for everything,it wasn't even cheap because in the other place the breakfast was...
