Location was excellent, right on the Zocalo, but do take earplugs if you don't like noise. All the sights and sites of Oaxaca are within easy walking distance. The rooms were very comfortable and not as noisy as we'd feared from other reviews. We had excellent air con (which was also contrary to other reviews). A great place to stay...

I stayed here as part of a small group tour. First I'll just say that the staff was very friendly and housekeeping was very prompt. The room and bathroom seemed updated and everything was clean. The shower was huge (no tub). There was an in room safe. The television was fine (we were able to watch the Cubs win). You...

Stayed for 5 nights, room are not renewed, are clean including the restroom. Deficient hot water in the shower. Has soap, shampoo and hair dryer. Beds average not very comfortable. TV old. Air conditioner OK. Has room service. Restaurant is OK, quality of breakfast average. Overall price good for an old Hotel. The presence of protesters did not cause any...

We have spent 2x two nights in this hotel. Good beds and airco, gooooood shower and right in the middle of all down town activities. All prime locations at walking distance, but it is quite noisy. Nothing really bothering, we fell asleep like angels but for some the music on the squares surrounding the hotel might be a bit too...

The location of this hotel is in the heart of the thriving Zocolo. After a hot ride in an unconditioned taxi from the Sierra Norte, the room was paradise. The lobby staff were very friendly and accommodating. The architecture of the building was marvelous, with marble and fancy designs and decorations. Our room was spotless, with remote controlled a/c and...

Can't beat the location for people watching. Yes, it's noisy, but it's definitely where the action is, and the noise usually tapers off when you're ready to go to bed. We spent over a week here for the radish festival and enjoyed watching the processions on Christmas eve from a balcony overlooking the festivities. Internet is indeed spotty, but usable,...

This hotel has a fantastic location, just in the Zócalo square in Oaxaca. Here you are defenitely in the middle of the city. The hotel is big, with four floors and has a lot of rooms. It's rather old and you can consider the rooms outdated, but they are big and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful....

I have stayed several places in Oaxaca recently. I stayed here recently when the usual place I stayed was booked. The hotel staff were friendly and mindful of my needs. The location is great, right on the Zocalo. There is no onsite parking. They have a contract with a garage a few blocks away, but it will be an extra...

It's fine, average at best. The location is excellent, right on the zocalo, unfortunately that's about it. Despite Oaxaca being quite cool, the rooms without air con are hot! You will have to leave your windows open and suffer the street noise. The central lobby is cool enough to sit in and has a three tables. It's also the only...
