I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I have had the pleasure of staying there twice and both times my expectations were exceeded. The staff is courteous, kind and highly professional and we felt very well cared for. The rooms and the main space are lovely. The menu is quaint and approachable. The most exciting thing is that...

We reserved 3 nights at Hotel Los Pilares at the hotel's website--after a very long Internet search. The cost was about $75 per night and our credit card was not charged until checkout. The entire hotel is immaculate and filled with flowers, potted plants and lovely traditional decor. When we walked into the lobby from the street, we were greeted...

Los Pilares exceeded my expectations in every way!! The staff was truly helpful and very kind! The room was clean, comfortable and quiet…. The location was better than I had thought it would be, in a quiet and very safe neighborhood and only a few blocks from Santo Domingo Cathedral. Since I was traveling alone I was concerned about safety....

We stayed at Los Pilares from June 14-19. We had been in Huatulco for 5 days & took a flight to Oaxaca via Aerotucan on a 12 seat Cessna. I have some flying anxiety but it was a clear day without strong winds & it went beautifully. It was a quiet time at the hotel, so we were able to...

Aside from the slightly surly, unhelpful and quite scruffily dressed receptionist, and the jacuzzi that took over an hour to heat up, we found this charming little hotel ideal for its price, location and comforts. I felt quite the dandy strolling around my room in the complimentary robe, and could have rolled over in my sleep eight or nine times...

This place is gorgeous - just outside the city center (maybe a 7 minute walk) which was perfect for us. The place smells incredible (flowers and candles everywhere) and is super clean and beautiful.
