Everywhere several looms are scattered, with colourful yarn hanging on the walls. Josephina, the owner, welcomed me and showed...

I wanted to spend a few nights in an authentic weaver's home in the wonderful traditional village of Teotitlan del Valle ( my 2 previous visits were with tour guides who steered me to the weaver's they get commission from ... ). The "de luxe" bedroom is basic but very comfortable, great view, large terrace. The breakfasts are OK, and...

Teotitlan del Valle is a charming village and there is much to see from the local weavers, nearby ruins and great hiking in the surrounding mountains. If you have the good fortune...

Teotitllan del Valle may not at first seem like the type of place to spend a night. But it is well worth staying to get a small town perspective on the region, and this small town is really pleasant, and one of the main centers for weaving. We stayed in the deluxe room, which was very nice and came with...

This hotel was recommended to me via a travel forum and it really was a good find! Teotitlan del Valle is a pueblo famous for weaving and is about 40 minutes by bus from Oaxaca city. We decided to spend one night outside of the city and definitely had a rural experience. The deluxe room was beautiful and very clean....
