The hotel elevator from the first floor to the elevator smelled horrible, the ice machine was broken, asked for ice and came an hour later. The room was even more plain than the pictures. Overall I would never stay here again

Stayed for a wedding and was a little nervous based on the pictures and reviews online, but I was surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel. It looked like it had been renovated recently. Staff were kind as well. Only suggestion is if you are looking for combined room-they do not have any.

My business host arranged for our stay and we were generally happy with the accommodations. The hotel was very clean and very friendly, despite not much English is spoken here. Happy to have used Google translate! Rooms are simple and I found two stations on the TV in English. Beds are hard. Nothing soft about them. Can't beat a free...

The place was pretty basic when i expected more. Breakfast was crowed and bad, the rooms were pretty basic. The gym was useable but next to a construction site so not useable. Would not stay there again.

Nothing special. It was clean and big rooms. Nice place and close to the business area. To the city (Zocalo about 1 1/2 hours by public transportation). Breakfast was nothing special but also ok. Recommended for business trips.

Beautiful hotel, modern amenities, and breakfast included. Great location for restaurants and shopping. Liverpool is a 10 minute walk. Very noisy, not good for sleeping (not a good soundproof hotel). Changed rooms but then had to listen to buses all night. After four nights of no sleep finally checked out and went next door.

Good price, terrible service. With this staff the answer to any request is "can't do". I guess that's what we paid for since the rate is affordable and really close by the insurgentes Theater which was the only reason to select it. If I can, will avoid it in the future even If i have to pay a little more.

I was here on business for 2 days and the staff is nice and so is the room. The big BUTs: wifi stops working at 7am when everyone starts connecting - it literally becomes useless; the gym has apparently been under renovation for a while and no news of when it will be ready again. They don't warn you on...

This is the second time I stayed in a City Express and unfortunately it was a similar experience. First of all, most of the guys in the front desk are inexpert, therefore his service tend to be mediocre. Secondly, the Internet is terrible. I only could work from my room once, the rest of my stay was impossible. Third, the...

The rooms were simple but very nice. Impressed that the bed was firm but very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to a shopping center and many restaurants within walking distance. Transportation was easy as you have the metro rail across the street and taxi service as well.

“I had an inside room far from the elevator which had a view of a courtyard that was covered by some kind of canopy. While it was quiet I had no sense of what things were like outside. At one point there was a huge storm and I was completely unaware of it. Request an outside room. There may be some street noise but at least you won't feel like you're staying in a cocoon.”

“Rooms near the front can get street noise, so ask for a room at the back.”

“Should you book online, be sure to get a confirmation, though. I did not check that and when I arrived there was no more room available. So I checked into another hotel for a night and then moved to the Cityexpress.”
