A wonderful four night stay at NH Historico. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed was great, the bathroom was clean, and the staff (from the cleaning ladies to the concierge) was very helpful. The excellent wifi was very much appreciated. I was given a room on the inside of the courtyard (away from the street), since I am...

Great place if you can get a good price on it. Try Kayak!! We only paid something like USD$90 per night, then we get there and see the walk-up rate was over $250 per night. Great place. Rooms are great and clean. Staff is awesome! Bar is hardly a bar as it is in the middle of the lobby and...

The only good things about this hotel: location, price (though there are other options), and fast wifi. Other than that, it was not good. The bed is a ROCK, the lighting is really dim, and oh man - that bathroom. First, the door to the bathroom is opaque glass, with no sound dimming whatsoever, so if you are rooming with...

This hotel is situated near the Zocolo in Mexico City so well located but beware - the service is very bad. When we checked in we were told a completely different price than the one we were quoted when we called. As well, we were told that breakfast was included and for the price, it definitely should have been, but...

Since I travel with a crawling baby I wanted to share my experience for other parents. This is a very nice and accommodating hotel in a great location in central México City. We stayed in a superior room. The room was huge. The floors are laminate and were very clean for the baby to crawl around. The provided crib was...

Unless you're an acrobat, request a handicap-accessible room. Climbing up and down an unstable step-stool to get over a high tub wall and into the tub/shower is difficult and dangerous, especially when wet and slippery. The odd design could easily have been replaced with a safe and convenient walk-in shower, and maybe it will be, someday. On the plus side,...

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Mexico City staying at the Hotel Historico Central. The staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and spoke excellent English.
