We are are a young couple that stayed for 9 nights in the Marvellous Suite #2501 in April. Overall we are happy with our choice in Polanco but this W Hotel is a bit dated and lacks some vibe. We are Platinum Preferred and have stayed in many W Hotels before. Pros: Friendly and helpful staff... mostly of them Location...

The first impression that you get is how astoningly beautiful it has been decorated. Whereas the lobby and bar may seem quite international, in the rooms, the Mexican colourful folklore has been aesthetically translated into beautiful decoration touches such as murals, cushions etc. The service provided by the staff is amazing, Front Desk, Bell, Spa and evening restaurant, everybody is...

Stayed there for 5 nights for business. Absolutely loved the place and in particular the design and size of the room. Such a funky hotel. Breakfast was tasty and service overall was helpful and respectful. Even has a temazcal!

4 stars because they charged for wifi, what year is this? Restaurant is incredible, worth the price. The neighbourhood is upscale and feels safe to walk around at night. We paid for a higher floor room but I'm not sure if it's worth it, the view is nothing special

Hello there russl15; Thanks a lot for sharing this! Did you try the gambas al ajillo (shrimps with spices) in our restaurant J by José Andrés? So delicious... About the internet, we have it open in all our public areas and I believe yours was complementary since you booked through our web site. Hope to see you soon! Daniel Menéndez...

Give me a break. The menu offers many wines but they have one Mexican chardonnay .The staff are not helpful. You should expect more of a W hotel. However, this is very mediocre clealry bad management.

What a great hotel, rooms great, funky bar, polite and efficient staff. I'm sorry I can't get over the fact you have to pay for wifi in your room. I won't go back until this policy is changed and remove this stealth tax to reflect the minimal cost of wifi these days

I stayed there recently for a long weekend. It is located in a very upscale neighborhood and walking distance to the Mexico City version of NYC's Central Park (where there are several museums). The service was very good (most everybody spoke English, which was not our experience outside of the hotel). The hotel and the room were very nice and...

This is not one of Starwood's best properties. The location is fabulous, really nice neighborhood and close to many great restaurants and Chapultepec Park. The hotel is pretty lousy in general.
