I had one of the super-cheap rooms on the top floor. It was a little prison-like, only one shared toilet and shower on the floor, which could be a bit inconvenient, but I can't complain for the price. It's in a fantastic location, easy walk to Zocalo, Belles Artes, Diego Rivera mural museum, plus tons of food and shops within...

I ve experienced absolutely the worst nightmare waking up in the morning with red skin bites all over! Watch out for the bed bugs on the cheapest -4th floor! The truth is that it was affordable hotel/hostel 280pesos for dbl room in the centrum but i would NEVER come back there. Bathroom (1) and toilet (ONLY 1) to share with...

I booked my room on Bookings for $MX 220 - that's about $US 12 and incredibly super cheap. For that I got a dive hotel room, fairly clean, shared bathroom in a very central location. My room was on the 4th floor and had a steel door, ratty sink and felt like a prison cell. Kinda depressing room, but you...

I would highly recommend this hotel for its location and price. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. There are several room types here, so I would recommend asking for one with windows as the ones without are dark. The hotel is clean and comfortable and it's right in the centre close to the shops and restaurants. We stayed here last...

for the price, this would have to be one of the most centrally located hotels in all of mexico. 5 minute walk to the dead centre of centro meant you were right in the thick of it, ready to explore in what ever direction you see fit. we saw the reviews and some random pictures of the rooms, that stated...

I took an offer from booking, and the price was really good taking into account the location (5 min walk to the Zócalo subway station) but the room was similar to a prision. Only a noisy bed and a Chair, a steel door and, literaly, only one toilet and one shower for, at least, 15 rooms that (according to the...

Overall: good, clean, inexpensive hotel in a great location. Good for solo travelers or budget couples. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the location is fantastic, and the wifi works quite well. No frills here, just a nice safe place to rest at night. Only reason I have chosen to deduct a few points from my rating is...

I have to say that the reviews were guiding me away from this hotel, but due to the timing of our trip there were few options in our price range. I was pleasantly surprised by the value and service provided by the hotel! It was inexpensive, very central and made our time in the city a great experience. Quaint and...

“The budget rooms do not have windows to the street, but do have windows that open to spacious ventilation shafts (ours had a huge potted plant in it) that extend upward to the open sky and provide a draft of fresh air and some diffuse natural light.”
