We stayed at Zocalo Central for 3 nights. Our rooms were nicely furnished and very clean. The hotel provides unlimited bottled water and apples on each floor. The food in their 6th floor roof-top dining room is so delicious that we chose to eat almost every meal there. A real bonus for us were the menus in English - know...

We were following a recommendation from Mexican friends living in DF, we had a list of places to go and restaurants to try and the location next to El Zocalo was very helpful, the hotel staff is great, the rooms comfortable and clean, a great experience

The Hotel Zocalo Central is in the heart of historic Mexico City. The roof top restaurant, which offers fine dining, great breakfasts, and cocktails, overlooks the Zocalo and the cathedral...breathtaking in the evening. The Zocalo metro is just steps away. Everyone, especially the concierge desk, is friendly and more than helpful. The room I had was a little dated, but...

The Zocalo Central has 2 main assets: location (right in Zocalo square, where hop-on/off buses start, Cathedral, Centro Historico) and the terrace restaurant. Despite they tried to allocate one of the family from the group in a smaller room than was pre-paid, which is not nice after 20 hours travel (such things you have to expect in Mexico, also when...
