The reception was about 2 hours late to let us into the building. We walked into a room with a rotten, musky smell. Turns out there was a rotten watermelon in the refridgerator. They refused to come clean it as the only clean the rooms once every 7 days. On our second night here, we arrived late at night, and...

Good value for the money-- clean, comfortable and all the amenities, including internet. The traffic from Churrubusco is rather constant, which makes for good white sound through double-paned windows. A 10-15 minute walk to the central plaza of Coayacan -- the best place in Mexico City. Very pleasant neighborhood close to the Jaracho coffee shop. Will return. The only downside...

Nice compact little suites with everything you need. Good mattresses, clean, well-equipped kitchen and less than a 10-min walk to Metro Coyoacan; 10 minute walk to the Coyoacan plaza and market. Great value.

I picked Suites Churubusco because of it's location in Coyoacan, just four long blocks from the Metro Sation. Everything went very smoothly from getting the keys to checking out. It was quiet, roomy, and had everything we needed for a week while my son was on a photo assignment. The upstairs roof top was a real plus at the end...

I travelled to Mexico city to take my dog to Veterinary Hospital Bruselas and I wanted to find a room nearby. This was a wonderful surprise after searching through ads for over-priced hotel rooms. My suite was exactly as pictured on the Suites Churubusco web page. and had everything I needed to be comfortable. The view of the leafy treetops...

Staying in Coyoacan

Neighbourhood Profile
Once you step into Coyoacán (“Land of the Coyotes”) you'll find picturesque parks and cantinas that will transport you back to the colonial era thanks to the brick and stone details of the area. Iconic writers such as Trotsky and great painters like Frida Kahlo seeked refuge and inspiration in this area, and you can see the unique spirit of this neighborhood reflected in its colorful market where nieves, sopes and all kinds of traditional 'antojitos' are a must try. Restaurants and cafés throughout its peaceful paved streets contain traditional but unique murals and decorations, where one can enjoy a mezcal at noon or the best churros with a cup of coffee.
