Our stay at El Patio 77 was one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico. We stayed four nights in the Oaxaca room and a further one night, on our return to Mexico City after travelling to other parts of the country, in the Chiapas suite. Both rooms are carefully and lovingly furnished with an impressive attention to detail....

We really loved staying at El Patio 77 in Mexico City for a week in August. It added so much to our trip. The morning exchanges with other travelers and the staff, the good recommendations, hooking us up with a tour to Teotuachan ancient pyramid, the Spanish language practice, and the lovely place to come home to at the end...

I booked my room after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. It is located very close to metro station San Cosme so you can reach easily the sights. I loved my room it was nicely decorated as the whole place. The exhibited works of local artists provide a special atmosphere. When you enter the big door you can find a beautiful,...

I made an express trip to Mexico City for the Corona Capital 2013 Festival. For just one night, I decided to step out of the "comfort zone" of executive suites, and try something new. And I'm so happy I did. I always thought that when someone said "it felt like home", it was corny and/or exaggerated. And now it's me,...

Booked El Patio 77 after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. Location: Few blocks to metro San Cosme and 5 stops to Zocalo centre, metro very easy to navigate despite a complete lack of Spanish. Neighbourhood felt safe but not (yet) particularly trendy. We ate locally most nights using El Patio 77 local recommendations. Room: We stayed in Oaxaca suite and loved...

El Patio 77 is undoubtedly the best boutique accommodation in Mexico City. The building is truly beautiful - quirky, tasteful decor, lots of interesting art, wood widely used, all set in what I am guessing is an old mansion. The one major problem I had with...
