My girlfriend and I are from Cabo, and we came to CDMX for a concert. We booked this hotel because of its price and proximity to museums. I personally do not like large chain restaurants or hotels too much. Upon arrival we expected the hotel to be beautiful, but it surpassed our expectations. I have read other travellers on trip... We picked Hotel Geneve for the location, but once we arrived we realised that there were plenty others to choose from in the area too. Our very early morning flight got us into the city much earlier than we expected, and the night staff allowed us to have a room at half-price which we were happy to use for a... More

Location - Centrally located in Zona Rosa with quite a lot of activity around - bars, restaurants, pubs & shopping. The hotel itself has a telephone themed bar which is quaint. Concierge - They offer group or private tours to various destination. If you speak a little bit of Spanish ask for Victor. He is the best tour guide ever!... More

Very good place. Like it very much! It is very convenient. It is close to market, restaurant and subway. The waiters are very kind. Most of them can speak English. The hotel is very beautiful, like a museum. I like to be seated in the sofa in the corner of the lobby. The room is a little old. But is... More

Geneve is an old-world style hotel with doormen and porters anticipating your every move. The rooms, while a bit worn, are clean, roomy and comfortable. The patio restaurant serves very good Mexican fare. The staff here is first-rate: very helpful and professional. The Sanborn's shop and coffee shop next door are especially convenient too. The only knock is that the... More

We stayed at the Geneve for 5 days. The location of the hotel is great, safe and fairly central. The staff was caring, helpful and polite. We had a delux room and my only complaint would be the fittings in the room are a little old and run down. But overall, an excellent stay !

Had a wonderful stay. Front desk very friendly & helpful. Best location. Felt safe walking around Zona Rosa by myself. ATM & large gift shop right next door was VERY convenient. Only negative would be the fairly thin walls. Everything else was great. Concierge also made some good recommendations.

Average hotel in Zona Rosa. Don't let the lobby fool you. Pictures on TripAdvisor looked nicer than actual property. Staff barely understood English so use your phone to interprerutate if your Spanish is Asi-Asi.

“Ask foe the back section. It has larger rooms and is quieter. At first they have us a 'delux' room in front that you could not access the closet and open a door at the same time. You jumped from bed to bed to make it through the room. When I asked, they found me a huge room in this back area. It was so much better. ”
