Love the deco and ambiance. Very welcoming as well. Location is perfect as you are directly at the center where you can just walk and take transportation anywhere. The terrace is classic and i spend quite few hours just there. recommended :)

We stayed here two nights while exploring CDMX. The location is the best there is to offer and the Hotel itself is old world opulence all the way. Salvador and Jessica helped us as we arrived, the entire staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all things Centro Historico. The terrace has stunning views of the Zocalo with top notch...

We received a warm welcome and courtesy drink on arrival. Valet parking was easy and the check in staff very friendly and efficient. Our rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated in line with the art nouveau architecture of the hotel. The lobby area is beautiful with a unique stained glass ceiling. Both restaurants served delicious food, although the service was...

Dear Geoff, Thank you for your recent review of our hotel. Gran Hotel Ciudad de México impresses from the moment you step inside; an immaculate Tiffany stained-glass ceiling towers five stories above the lobby, while a stunning Louis XV-style chandelier and gilded open elevators add to the elegant ambiance. I couldn't of had a more enjoyable stay! The hotel is beautiful and the location couldn't be more in the heart of Centro Historico. All of the staff was friendly and made the stay more pleasant. Jorge in particular was awesome and gave me some great tips on where to go in the city. I would definitely stay there again.

This is an exceptionally beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious and clean and the service was outstanding. We will definitely visit here again. The hotel is located right in the historic center, just a block off the zocalo so it was very easy to stroll around and enjoy the local atmosphere.
