The visit was good to the hotel. We stayed there 5 nights. The rooms were fine, a little worn, but not bad at all. Most of the staff could speak and understand English. The restaurant onsite was ok, nothing great, but still good. We opted to include breakfast with the room price. This limits your choices on the menu in...

We travelled from Sydney to Mexico City and were so happy we booked this hotel for 6 nights. From check in to check out nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had no problem with the language, our room was clean, we had a balcony with great views and there is even a filtered water tap in each...

We stayed here for 6 nights while visiting our daughter. The hotel is centrally located to many of the City's sights and the staff, as others have mentioned, were outstanding. Unless you have the ability to sleep through all kinds of noise, I would strongly advise you to ask for an interior room. We spent the first couple of nights...

Stayed for 2 nights in Catedral. It is a nice little place in a really convenient location. Yes the decor was a bit outdated, but we didn't care. The rooms were spacious, bathroom large. My only comment is that the rooms could have been a bit cleaner. Complaint-- no hairdryer in the bathroom. Reception staff was really nice and helpful....

We stayed at the Hotel Catedral for one night, prior to taking an early flight the next morning. Although it was impossible at the time for our cab to approach the hotel any closer than the corner, due to the crowds of ambulant vendors (since removed, I read), it was only a short walk to the door. We were greeted...

Loved this place. We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend we met on the road. It was our very first time in Mexico City and had read all the horror stories in the guide books about how dangerous it was. We were so paranoid we literally grabbed our bags and RAN from the taxi into the lobby. Once...

We stayed at hotel Catedral for 4 nights in September 2007. As everyone else already wrote - this is a great hotel to stay in for visiting the DF. The room was well sized and very clean. We booked through the hotel a tour to Teotihuacan, which included also the "Plaza de las Tres Culturas", the Basilica de Guadalupe and...

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in Jul 07. We arrived to be greeted by a friendly bell boy who assisted us with our luggage and took us to the reception desk, who again, were very friendly and helpful with our questions. I noted whilst waiting, how busy this hotel is with visitors from all over the world....
