The hotel was perfect for me when visiting Mexico City, it located at one of the safest area (since you have US embassy next to the hotel and bunch of police patrolling) and close to the attraction site, Independence Angel Plaza. Tons of nice local street food and restaurants in the area. Room was neat and clean, my only complaint would be the bathroom which was smaller than expected and needed to update. Other than that, the hotel has great service, awesome breakfast option and nice bar at night (but a little pricey).

Based on other reviews, the price and name I was expecting considerably better facilities and rooms, sadly this location does not live to the Sheraton brand or what it used to be.

Extremely outdated, smelly bathrooms, worn bedding, you get a feeling that the place is kind of old and dirty when stepping into your room.

The bathtub and probably the drain smells horribly, the hand towel holder was broken, found hairs on the bedding, definitely ot what I expected from this brand.

Think twice before spending too much in this place, theres better options for less money out there.

This hotel is in the center of everything--from business offices to the vibrant LGBT clubs and bars across the street. There is something for everyone outside this hotel; however, there's not much going on inside.

The rooms are wonderfully modern with USB outlets liberally planted along the walls. There is only one English speaking channel on the TV: CNN, but who cares when there's so much to see in CDMX!

The fitness gym is fantastic and arguably the best part of my stay was the up-to-date equipment and options. I did have a massage there, but I wouldn't recommend it. The massage room is awkwardly located in the men's locker room where women walk in and out freely. Be sure to bring some shorts.

The phenomenal service experienced from front desk and housekeeping elevates the value during your hotel stay. My room always had that extra touch and the lobby team always had a greeting to make my day.

The big negative here is the food. Mexico City, without a doubt, is blessed with glorious food available on every street corner, but somehow this hotel's culinary gifts have falling into the abyss of bland, uninspired fare.

I made the choice to have the Thanksgiving dinner--dried turkey loin with rubbery corn, disgusting cranberry salsa, and bland stuffing. I had breakfast here...a lot of options...none of it tasty. Where's the salsa bar? That would've helped my eggs...

About breakfast, the front desk didn't inform me that as a Platinum guest I would be able to have free breakfast in the Executive Lounge...rather than at the hotel's restaurant. When I disputed this, it fell on deaf ears...So, if you have status and want free breakfast...go to the lounge!

Nice rooms and rates reasonable if one consider that it was downtown Mexico City. Very friendly and helpful staff. From the hotel there are many attractions, restaurants and shopping mails within walking distance.
