I was very pleased with my room at this hotel, with a comfortable king-sized bed. The mattress was very comfortable, supportive yet also soft. However the pillows could use replacing imho. The lights/tv and a/c are all controlled by leaving your room key in a little 'key insert' near the front door. If you don't leave your key there while...

Sadly most of the staff doesn't speak anything but spanish, but still tries it's best to help. Very clean rooms and daily room cleaning. You get one free bottle of water every day. The rooms aren't very big and spacious, but there is enough place to store luggage and walk around without problems. Beds confirtable, although the pillows very high...

This is a small hotel in the central historic area of Mexico City. It is a short walk to metro stops, as well as to the Mercado San Juan. Overall, the hotel feels safe. The rooms are clean with bed mattresses that are quite firm. The pillows are a bit bulky which took some getting used to. The front desk...

We were there back in July 2012. First impression was "Where am I?" Staff were really friendly to direct us to where the action was. The room was small, with bed, TV and shower. They don't have an A/C. Basically you window is your best option but in July is rainy season so every morning the ceiling was for of...

This place is a good option. It's clean and they try to be green. The rooms are not so big but work for us. The restorant is not the best, if you can go out well try it but if not then be pacient because the place is super slow. The Internet DOES NOT work at all and was huge...

Staying in Alameda

Neighbourhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
