Small, hidden, the cutest rooms colorful and exactly just like the pictures. Part of the experience was sign language with the lady in charge, but super helpful and when needed she would call someone who understands and speaks perfect English. Breakfast is good. Quiet area and hidden road. 20 min walk a center of Coyoacan. 15 min walk from the...

The house is gorgeous but the service is terrible they treat you super bad they don't open the door, do not respect your reservation and there is a lot of noise in the morning you will not be able to sleep, and they make you feel like you are a estranger at their home I will neve again stay there,...

Quiet, great location, beautiful garden and wonderful breakfasts. Stayed five night while visiting my daughter. Get the downstairs room! Large, nicely appointed, with fireplace, separate dressing and bathrooms, and opaque shades on floor to ceiling windows which offer privacy while letting in light and views from the heavenly garden!

We stayed here over Christmas and the innkeeper was not on site to help us nor to make our stay memorable. I had inquired several times before arrival about changing to a better room as we booked the last one available which was the more basic room, although very nice and comfortable but small. I was told the place was...

This B&B is located in the historic Santa Catarina neighbourhood of Coyoacan, within walking distance of an impressive range of tourist, cultural and commercial resources. The Jesús Reyes Heroles Cultural Center is around the corner, as is the historic Santa Catarina Chapel. Not far off is the Coyoacan village center, with its colonial buildings and vibrant street life. The B&B...

I 100% agree with all previous posts, this place is simply breathtaking. Wonderful, quiet, beautiful, great service, great breakfast, amazing location, quaint. I will recommend that anyone who visits DF (mexico city) stay in this bed and breakfast. My only regret is that we did not stay here longer. The beds are super comfortable and if an adult family is...

The garden is very thougthfully laid out and...

We stayed at La Casita del Patio Verde for 3 nights and just loved it! We are used to stay at luxurious 4-5 stars hotels and we couldn't believed that we paid so little and received so much. We stayed in the Colibri room, which is the cheapest of the three rooms because the private bathroom is outside the room....

Staying in Coyoacan

Neighbourhood Profile
Once you step into Coyoacán (“Land of the Coyotes”) you'll find picturesque parks and cantinas that will transport you back to the colonial era thanks to the brick and stone details of the area. Iconic writers such as Trotsky and great painters like Frida Kahlo seeked refuge and inspiration in this area, and you can see the unique spirit of this neighborhood reflected in its colorful market where nieves, sopes and all kinds of traditional 'antojitos' are a must try. Restaurants and cafés throughout its peaceful paved streets contain traditional but unique murals and decorations, where one can enjoy a mezcal at noon or the best churros with a cup of coffee.

“They are three rooms! we chose the cheapest which is on the second floor, it has a speerate bathroom but we were not annoyed at all. the best is the one on the first floor- directly at the garden and more spacious with a bathroom. but in the second floor this is a "common room" very cute and calm and you can share with the second room on the same floor.”
