This was my first time hostel stay and this truly felt like home. The Roma district is beautiful and hip. The staff were welcoming and fun and the building is full of character. We had some issues with no hot water part of the time.

It is located in Roma and just 2 blocks from Condesa, best neighborhoods to stay in Mexico City, so much better than staying in Centro which is not so safe, very busy and noisy all the time, while Roma and Condesa are the coolest and trendiest hoods, very beautiful and very well conected to the whole city. It is not...

Lovely hostel in beautiful Roma. Super- friendly and helpful staff. Not a party hostel but very friendly and social. Lots of room in the dorms. A decent kitchen. Situated in a quiet street that is close to everything. Metro is a 10 min walk away. I literally can't fault it.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Home. So much so that I ended my stay and ended up staying there for nearly 2 weeks. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Nothing was too much of a problem. The hostel is not a party hostel which is good, but it still had a good bunch of people there to...

The best hostel for sleep and comfort in the Roma-Condesa area. So easy to get around, I recommend staying here for sure. Good kitchen for guest use. Nice comfortable lounge and guests are friendly. Staff are more lax and stay out of your way but there's always someone at the front desk if you need anything. Breakfast is simple just...

Good atmosphere & helpful staff. I had an excellent time at hostel home and met a lot of great people. The place is perfect for single travelers with a relaxed atmosphere without being a party hostel. The rooms and the kitchen as well as the common rooms were clean. The showers could have been cleaner. I would always come back!!!

Hostel Home is a great hostel in the classy Col Roma neighborhood. It is mellow so you can get rest and it is small enough that everyone typically gets to know each other. The staff was very helpful and kind. The could do with some local area maps for guests but other wise I have no complaints about this hostel....

Great hostel for the money, and I don't mean that in the "this hostel is cheap so therefore can be dirty". Although it's not the Ritz, you can't really find a better deal/location combination. I've stayed at Hostel Home on numerous occasions and have always been pleased with my stay. It is cleaned daily from top to bottom, the staff...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Come and stay in the oldest hostel in Mexico City in a beautiful old house, built in 1912. Feel at Home in Roma - Condesa with an excellent nightlife, surrounded by cafes, parks, restaurants, shops, galleries and great pubs, but also great weird stuff like the luchas (wrestling), the oldest high energy dance floor (Patrick Miller) or the queer neighborhood in Mexico City (Zona Rosa). We are a very open-minded house, we appreciate art, community living and local buying. We work hard in making Hostel Home a space where people can share ideas, travel plans, stories, music and food! ... more   less
