I stayed 3 nights at the Hampton Inn and Suites near the Zocalo in Mexico City. It was perfect! I was concerned about staying in Mexico City alone. My sister had been there a few years ago with her family and she recommended this hotel. The location is perfect, not too far from the airport (215 peso cab ride), 2...

Great location, very close to Zocalo in Centro Historico. Close to lots of restaurants and sights. Very good English spoken. Staff were exceptionally helpful, with directions, arranging taxis and guides, even purchasing bus tickets for us. Rooms comfortable, beds particularly so. Lovely rooftop area.

I've just returned from a trip to Mexico that began with an eight night stay at the Hampton Inn, Centro Historico. This hotel is wonderfully located (you can access most museums and historical sights on foot or via a short cab ride). The price is right, the rooms are pleasant (and quiet), and the staff is extremely helpful. There is...

Very nice and helpful staff. I really like their kindness. Great location to visit the zocalo area. I like the rooms although I would love access to natural sunlight. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Service is great, as well.

For our first visit to Mexico City we wanted to be in the historic part of town, but we need our modern and familiar comforts to feel at home. We speak some Spanish but the staff all spoke enough English to get us through our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and as in many cities you can hear street...

This hotel is brilliantly located within walking distance of the historic zone, main zocola, bus stops and the metro. There's tea and coffee available in the lobby 24 hours a day and the breakfast was good. Our issue was that the air con didn't work and despite four visits from maintenance it still didn't work. We kept getting told that...

I stayed at this hotel for five nights this past week. I had a single queen room on the first floor. Although small by U.S. Standards (other than NYC), the room was very comfortable (bed was great) and well appointed. It had a hair dryer, an iron, free bottled water, and soaps and shampoos. There was a flat screen tv...
