It's a small hotel but I was surprised that our room was spacious. The staff were very warm. Breakfast was good. Very far though to Zocalo. We walked a long way. Checked-out very early morning, staff still smiling. Taxi was ready even I did not asked..which was good coz I was catching my flight to L.A.

The hotel was conveniently placed, close to Chapultepec Park. The staff friendly and efficient. Our first room was very noisy and they gave us another without complaint, BUT they probably gave us the smallest room in the hotel! The only hotel on our 2 week circuit in Mexico, where you had to pay for using Wifi !!!

Hotel Regente is located at the intersection of the Reforma and Insurgentes avenues and is just next to the Senado de la república building. Also its right in the commercial, financial and cultural heart of Mexico City. The Hotel is very decent, clean and economical for the stay. You can get good Spanish Food over here. We stayed in this hotel from Feb. 10-13, 2015. The rooms were large enough. Stayed in the 3rd floor. The staff were very friendly. Although not a lot of them spoke English. I like the fluffy pillows. I love the high pressure of the shower and they also have a separate filtered faucet in the sink. The towels were too...

Nice 4 star hotel. Nice large room, 2 double beds, good bathroom, plenty of hot water for showers. Well located within walking distance of restaurants. Breakfasts OK Negatives: noise from other guests into the small hours of morning should not be tolerated by hotel management. Having to pay for wifi a minor disappointment; wifi slow But all made good by...

These are thing I am not entirely happy with so read my tips and decide for yourself. 0. Long walk 30minutes to 45 minutes to everythings. 1. .....3 star not 4 for sure. 2. Restaurant food is horrible. No taste what so ever. Non english speaking staff. 3. Only one tiny lift for such big hotel. You will have to...

The location of the hotel is ok, although is a pretty long walk to see any of the sites. Easy to buy basic items, water etc very close, a shopping mall and large supermarket a few blocks along Insurgentes Ave. Rooms, breakfast etc comparable to other 3 star tour type hotel. The hot water needed to be run for a...

Pros: location - in a quiet street, but close to Reforma, within a 15-minute walk from Zocalo. Nice decor of the restaurant and lobby. Bathrooms look nice and clean, rooms are big and refurbished, but wouldn’t say the décor is nice. Cons: Hotel seems to be constantly fool of large groups, which makes it hard to get something for breakfast,...

This hotel had been recently renovated in ~2007 and so looks pretty modern. So after seeing all the mixed reviews, I finally got the chance to visit it, so here we go... Location: First off the location of this hotel is 10/10, located one of Mexico city's most popular road (Reforma), it is situated right in the heart of Mexico...
