After spending a horrible and cold night in Mision Grand Casa Colorada which has a higher ratings we changed to Camino Real and were absolutely happy! Room in the new building was clean, big and warm. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are modern and big. Great quality for the price! Unfortunately breakfast wasn't that great, poor selection of meals, but waiters...

the hotel location is not good at all, it is up in the hill far from the city center , ( 15 minutes walk) they say , but it is up and down hill , so , by the time you arrive to the city center , you would be exhausted. Hotel is supposed to be 4 to 5 stars...

When we arrived at the hotel, close to midnight, they didn't find our reservation. We were asked for the reservation number, and thank God we had it in an email. Then, the room they gave us, as we walked in, was occupied by another couple! It was a very uncomfortable and awkward moment. The bellboy ran out to get us...

The pictures you see on trip advisor or deafly doctored when you come here and see the real location it's old needs to be painted the staff doesn't seem to really want to go out of their way to help you except valet we called for an extra pillow they said they had none! The hotel's empty and they couldn't...

I travel for work & I am a pretty relaxed traveler. I could have dealt with the 1.5 hour wait for the hotel to locate my reservation and give me my room. But it continued: My "non-smoking" room smells like an ashtray, so I ask for another one. No 2 had a moldy bathroom, some sticky whatever on the floor,...

The location is close to city centre and taxi service is necessary for most trips. Staff is friendly and will usually be able to find someone that speaks English to help you. Rooms and service are good. The restaurant has lots of staff but service is slow and food is often cold when it arrives.

Well appointed, service was reasonable, food was surprisingly very good. The tortilla soup was outstanding. Rooms facing the east side of the tower are a bit noisy (road noise), bed linens getting a bit tired, but all in all a good experience. Beautiful gardens, nice pool.

My family and I stayed here 12-15 July, enough time to get a good feel of the city of Guanajuato and Hotel Camino Real. The hotel itself is average, nothing compared to the vibe, mystery and passion you can feel everywhere you go in this beautiful city. The front desk employees do their job right but that's it, it's just...

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The rooms are very spacious and clean and the beds are so comfy. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help. They offer parking lot for a small fee. The only inconvenience is the hotel is located about 15 minutes walking from downtown but it's always a police officers nearby so it's safe....

This is an hacienda type hotel with a modern touch, great architecture. The room was very nice, comfortable. The service was ok though, it could be better. It has free wifi but you have to pay for daily parking.
