Location is very good, you can walk to almost any point of interest. Rooms are big and clean, but no ceiling fans or AC. They have an agreement with a near by parking lot, so be sure you ask for parking included at the time of reservation if you bring a car. Be aware, there is some street noise and...

My stay in Guanajuato was highlighted by the exceptionally friendly, personalized service at the Hotel Casa del Agua. Additionally, the restaurant attached to the hotel lobby, offered a small but tasty menu for very reasonable rates. And location is outstanding. Casa del Agua is now and will remain to be first choice for stays in the beautiful, historic Mexican city.

We went to Guanajuato to spend a long weekend, and staying at this hotel was one of the best choices we made. It's a beautiful XIX century house with all new interiors, so the bathroom was new and clean. It's located at the very heart of the city, so you can walk anywhere from there. The parking lot is a...

When I returned from my tour, I wanted to get a good night sleep but I never found my pijama. I called the manager and told him that I left it folded over the suit case but he didnt care. It was late, so I had to sleep in my underwear. The next day the owner didnt care either. Besides...

The hotel is in the heart of downtown close to all the essential spots. Our room and bathroom were very spacious and airy, clean, with much attention paid to client services including toiletries and incense sticks. As rooms go, it was very value for money. Inclusive breakfast was quite good too with a choice of about 7 meals, ranging from...

We had an excellent trip to Guanajuato. It was clean, breakfast included (basic medium portions), you can really take a nice rest while you can fully blind the balcony/ window with doors, remote control AC, pretty spacious and sometimes I would have liked more coziness for such a big room. They also have a big bathroom with shower and tub....

A modern conversion of a traditional building, very close to the centre. There is a very attractive central staircase leading to the rooms, some of which are internal. The rooms have immaculate tiled floors and are well fitted out with comfortable bed, TV, fridge and room safe. The bathroom was large and very modern with both a bath and shower....

My wife and stayed three nights - Hotel Manager Salvador and his staff were always very helpful and went the extra step (ie reserving a parking spot for us right in front of the hotel in a 1 hour spot where they parked us for 2 days) - great central location (but some rooms with balconies face the one lane...

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel, in general a good experience and we would go back again. ROOMS: very clean, average size, nice furniture, comfortable bed. We stayed at the "Amapola" room, it has a balcony @ 3rd floor. BATHROOM: great size, furniture, shower and bath, just a few problems with hot water first night. LOCATION:...

On the plus side, the hotel is superbly located in the center of town, just a block or two from the main square. It also has in its favor a lovely old building. The hot water was ample and highly pressurized (I read an earlier review where this was not the case). On the downside, we had an exterior room,...
