Clean, nice art, meseras buenas, and the food and drinks are great. Situated on a quiet historic small plaza....steps up from the center of town. Worth the climb. Vale la pena! The mocha is especially good.

I stayed here as a solo guest and was in the main building above the cafe. I was shown the rooms in the building and selected the one with the adjoining bathroom. The room had a window that looked at a concrete wall, but didn't mind because I was only there to sleep. This also allowed me to keep the...

I booked two nights at El Zopilote but quickly changed this to three as Guanajuato is a great city with lots to see and do. A mixed bag of comments, mostly positive.... Plus points: - Location is great, just off a cute neighbourhood plaza and within easy reach of everything. - Staff were really nice, and patient with my pigeon...

This the third time we have stayed here. we get two rooms which means you get the guest house which has a full kitchen, dining and living rooms, plus excellent terraces with terrific views. Like many places in Guanajuato, it can be noisy at night since the streets are very narrow and stone. As a result, people walking down the...

This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel. Again it was fabulous, especially for the money. My wife and I stayed in Perros Muertos building across the plaza from the main hotel. The building had a full kitchen and dining room that we used and there was a gorgeous shared terrace with a view of the city...

Great little place a few blocks from the main square. Different-sized rooms, at different levels. Decent price. No restaurant , though. It's a converted family home. Steep walk up to this place, though. Not for physically-challenged. Easy going down to the square but tough to return after getting your drink on.

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a sitting area as well for three nights. The hotel is close to everything, and we were able to enjoy this great city. We were not impressed by the breakfast, so we went out instead. Apart from the breakfast, everything was good.

We stayed here on our journey through Mexico for one night only and we were happy! Very authentic and clean. We originally thought that we were staying in the main house but then we were told to follow the owner to another house, we were happily surprised! Had kitchen, lounge and dining area and great views from the terrace! Very...

We chose to stay in the hotel part above the restaurant. The room was very attractive and comfortable. Ours (Azul) had an ensuite while our friends had their own bathroom that was across the hall from the bedroom. We had the rooftop terrace to ourselves and enjoyed the impressive views and sunsets. Pablo and Aaron were very helpful. The location...

I stayed at this hotel on two occasions during the annual Cervantino festival and this hotel is my favorite in Guanajuato. The hotel has several buildings around Plaza Mexiamora were they offer different rooms; some of them have a kitchen and some have terraces with a beautiful view over Guanajuato. Plaza Mexicamora is a beautiful, tranquil plaza, but still in...
