Hotel Posada Santa Fe is Guanajuato! This historic hotel has been recently refurbished bringing it back to the grandeur of the Mexican Revolution. Great beds, new wood flooring and relaxing shower. Just step outside the hotel and see why Guanajuato was chosen as a World Heritage Center. We recently spent out 50th wedding anniversary at the Posada and we will...

Location is ideal, right on the main square, with a nice shady little sidewalk cafe in front. Breakfast on the sidewalk was good, dinner was substandard though. Lobby is cute and old, service in the hotel was good. Front desk spoke decent English, was helpful with advice. Has parking if you need it. FYI Cars can't drive to the front...

The room was very far up the stairs towards the end of the building and did not appear to be the one I had purchased in the picture from Expidia. I was very disappointed as it was very hot on that side of the building and the to get to it felt like a maze. The worst hotel I have...

The Posada de Santa Fe is located right in the heart of Guanajuato. It is an excellent location to tour and enjoy this colonial marvel. Guanajuato is like no other Mexican City. It is unique and exceptional in all regards. My wife and I traveled during the second week of April. The weather is hot and the hotel does not...

In a few words : everything too old . People have been nice at the reception , the location is great but the installation is really too old . From floor carpet to room furniture feeling is not comfortable. Renovation needed .

The room was huge, yet tired but that was what we expected. But, we didn't expect that on a Sunday night the Band below our window would continue their playing loudly until 1:30 a.m. This was JUST AFTER all the power went off. We got up at 5 to go to the airport and the power was still off. Pretty...

Thanks for staying with us. We work hard to make our guests happy and are very sorry that your 2 points rating was due to an uncommon situation out of our control rather than our service, and regret not having been up to your expectations. We appreciate your feedback and would love to see any reconsideration!

Lovely colonial hotel. Enchanted with the location. If you are looking to stay at a modern hotel this is not the one for you. Our room over looked at a courtyard and was perfect. Excellent staff. Planning our next visit.

And it has the ambience to prove it. We got in on a late flight, maybe 9 pm. The cabbie dropped us and our wheeled luggage behind the Theatro Juarez and indicated "walk that way and keep going". He didn't get a tip, but he couldn't get much closer because it's an old town made for carts and now has...

This hotel is definitely dated but that is the charm about this place. Our family of four throughly enjoyed our two nights here. The location can't be beat, the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was served at your table. We would happily return.

Everything seemed to be within about 2 blocks of this location. The plaza itself was very entertaining. Other than the location, the best thing about the hotel is the desk staff who spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is old but does have an elevator for those with mobility issues. Our room was clean. The bathroom...
