We were fortunate we booked a room in advance as we were there right at the start of Semana Santa and were also there for the festival of flowers which was really wonderful. All the women got flowers (you know what that means guys) and the women wore clothes with flower patterns. We LOVED Guanajuato, which is a UN heritage...

We loved this hotel as soon as we arrived. It is clean, excellent condition and maintained very well. The theme of artists is carried out throughout the hotel. You feel like you're in a gallery. Its located next door to the best coffee shop (La Conquistador), restaurants (La Taberna de Diego y Frida, Tulum) & the Diego Rivera Museum (1...

Very unique property, with beautiful Mexican colonial architecture, a very pleasant breakfast area. Lots of stairs to climb, if you are older or don't like to climb lots of stairs request rooms from 100 to 300s. 400 numbered room are just to many stairs to climb. Service was very good both at the front desk and by the housekeepers. Specially...

This is a lovely hotel and perfect for visiting Guanajuato. We had a great time staying here, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and it's right around the corner from the center of downtown. We had to leave town at 4 am for our flight and the hotel called a taxi for us and made sure we got there...

We were in room 402. I counted over 70 stairs to get to our room. However, the room was very spacious with several windows and a small kitchenette. Small bathroom. Great buffet breakfast. Highly recommend for price and location.

Stayed here with my sisters in February 2017 and were comfortable and enjoyed our stay but had some issues. We booked two rooms at the same time - obviously a group, but ended up with rooms on two different floors. Lots of stair climbing - rooms were comfortable but inconsistent. We had a small kitchen in our room with zero...

We stayed in this beautiful hotel last summer. I give it four stars, because of its ambiance, and it's also in a great location. The staff was also very nice. You can walk to the University, Teatro Juarez, and El Jardin. Everything is nearby. Also, a little pro-tip, if you would like to wash your clothes before heading back home,...

This is a cozy and charming hotel which has many positives. It is centrally located at a walking distance from all the attractions and eateries. It is not elegant but charming. The problems are several: the rooms are on four floors with steeps stairs and no elevator, the is a labyrinth of courtyards and stairs, there is virtually no lobby....

Close to the center of town, and lots of restaurants and galleries to explore. Really nice center area where a full and delicious breakfast is served. Love the history of this Hotel and good they kept the old walls. Nice room, clean and had Kitchenette.
