Stayed one night!!! Needs keeping up, old TV, cracked doors, you hear everything, beds were so so.... Front desk could care less about you😳Buffet Sunday morning was good. The outdoors is beautiful though...

The Castle is really cool and if you have kids it is magical. The hotel has new owners as of a year ago and the manager is only one month on the job. She speaks perfect English and will help you with whatever you need - just ask. The Castle has been neglected over the years and some rooms are...

From arrival, the experience at Castillo Santa Cecilia was disappointing. Front desk clerks didn't give a peanut about courtesy nor customer service. Their answers were rude, lacking any basic hospitality skills and making guests feel as they were more a burden than a joy to receive. My daughter and her friend were excited to spend a long weekend at Guanajato's...

Tis a pricey place to stay, no coffee in the morning. At 7 30 it was served lukewarm, floors are some cheap plywood that has started to peel, lifting off, needs repairs on doors to shut properly. The parking was adequate, we did not see anyone WATCHING our vehicles. Reception was indifferent to the fact Wi Fi did not get...

I first stayed here 20 years ago, and the Castillo was a bit run down back then. I stayed here last week for work and after reading other recent reviews here I have to agree. The concept is amazing, and the view from my suite's window was amazing. But most of the furniture predates my first visit and a lot...

Perfect to enjoy the fantasy with my kids. Bought my daughter a princess dress and my son a dragon and a sword. In middle of the sight seeing visited fantasy land with them. Very romantic, peaceful and great place to rest. Food in the restaurant very good. A little dusty in the room.

This hotel takes place in a fantastic and huge castle, but it's kinda old. The rooms are huge, most of them with a balcony and a great view of the city, the AC system consists of mini-splits on every room, the problem is that they are connected somewhere else beside your room and you'll eventually get them shut down in...

This continues to be a gorgeous place; beautiful for taking pictures and admiring the magnificent architecture BUT one of the worst hotels we have stayed in anywhere in the world. The service is aweful, our phone was not working, so everytime, which was very often, I had to "report" or ask for something I had to walk all the way...

I chose it because my little girl was astonished with the legends of Guanajuato and I thought it would be a nice place to stay because it is a medieval castle, she really enjoyed it. But the place is very neglected, kind of dirty, the food is ugly the pool is cold, very far from the center.
