We travel to Guadalajara for and international soccer tour with our son and stayed here. The hotel was beyond my expectations! The rooms were clean and nice, the staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We were able to walk to many different sights and felt safe. We were there for 5 nights and...

I chose this hotel because I prefer colonial Mexian hotels with charm and culture over the box chain hotels you can stay in anywhere. I was not disappointed. The hotel is very beautiful, after passing throught the main entrance you come into a Hacienda style hotel with the open courtyard in the middle with a fountain, patio, piano, and seating. Absolutely...

The Hotel Morales offers refined elegance as soon as you enter the front door. You are greeted with a friendly smile and soothing piano music as you enter. Looking up to the ceiling offers a sense of calm and beauty that can only be found in Old Mexico. It is easy to see why it was a favorite resting place...

Pleasant hotel...nice ambiance, clean, well decorated rooms. Nice, if a bit noisy, lobby restaurant with good food and good prices. We asked for a quiet room and for some bazaar reason were assigned one next to a loud elevator, however, we were then given a choice of several other rooms, one of which was fine. We also stayed at the...

Our stay was over a long weekend and we really enjoyed the hotel. It is located in the center of the city, within walking distance of all the historical attractions. There are several good restaurants in the area. Very beautiful architecture and the room was very quiet and clean. WiFi would come & go, but we didn't really need it....

Our old-style room was quiet, comfortable, and immaculate. A safe, ironing board/iron, and wash cloths were provided--not something always found when traveling through Mexico. The free wifi worked great in our room. There is even a rooftop pool. A good location close to lots of retail shopping. The only hiccup I noted was an awkward shower, which was impossible for...

This is a very nice hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable beds, our room was quite (we were on the inside courtyard). We had dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet. Staff very pleasant. I did leave items in my room and am waiting to hear back that they have them.

Great location, very nice accommodations. Mostly in agreement with other reviewers. However, the food was TERRIBLE. Better food available at LaChata restaurant (about 1 1/2 blocks away). Also the internet access was terrible and often times non existent even in the lobby.

Great Hotel, Clean, great value. Staff weren't so friendly, could have just been my lack of Spanish. Would definitely stay there again. Indoor courtyards were very nice. 250 pesos in a taxi to the airport.
