This is not a four star hotel but I would rather stay at Casa Alebrijes for its charm, location, and the valuable advice that John gives to make your stay in Guadalajara a great time at a very reasonable price. I only wish there was a bed and breakfast place like this everywhere I traveled! Hope to get back and...

We received a warm welcome from John, who gave us lots of help and information on Guadalajara, which we very much appreciated. We were on the 2nd floor in room 8 which is a King Suite. A huge room, very attractively decorated, with a very comfortable bed, plenty of seating, cable TV, toiletries, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, large...

When I go back to Guadalajara I always choose Casa Alebrijes, and this time was better than the first time. Locate in Zona Romantica (Downtown). Me and my boyfriend spent 3 days and was awesome, I recommend the room by the fountain (1st floor).

This was our second time staying in Casa Alebrijes and it didn't disappoint. John, the owner/innkeeper, was always accommodating and informed. This time we chose room #3, and the sound of the fountain was super soothing. There's always plenty of hot water for showers and the wi-fi is strong. The location is superb and the prices are very reasonable. All...

I stayed here 3 nights as recommended by my friends who live in Guadalajara. The property is conveniently located in El Centro District close to many beautiful churches and historic buildings. This also happens to be located close to many gay clubs and spas. All within easy walking. The prices here are very reasonable and the room was nicely decorated...

I had a fabulous room with queen sized bed with all the amenities as well as a balcony overlooking the hotel's interior space/lobby. There was a flat-screen TV with DVDE player in the room and with DVDs available for use at the front desk. The hotel's manager was also very helpful in suggesting local restaurants and other spots of interest....

Its difficult to imagine a better gay hotel in any city, anywhere. The owner John, constantly works at perfecting his masterpiece. Case Alebrijes is as charming and unique as it is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The street-front is a bright facade for a total gem waiting inside. Once inside, we were welcomed by the focal point of the property; a...

My partner and I stayed at Casa Alebrijes for 10 days. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the proprietor John who welcomed us and gave us a great orientation to the city and the nightlife.
