Pros: The views from every room and the pool and restaurant area are stunning. It is very quiet and peaceful location. It is a short walk to great restaurants in the downtown area. You can walk to the marina and take a water taxi to Las Gatas Beach for only 20 pesos pp each way. The restaurant served excellent food...

This is our second trip and enjoyed very much. It is very walkable to town, but taxi back and there are over 50 steps up to the pool, not to mention the uphill trek to get there. A little over 20 rooms, all interesting. We spent a bit more to have a balcony which is a spectacular view. View from...

We loved this resort! The staff was awesome, the restaurant was great (even though a little limited in the menu) and the view was nothing short of spectacular. They warn you about the steps...that is understated. We were upgraded to the 5th floor. 4 flights of stairs to the 4th floor and then a sprial staircase to the 5th. The...

Beautiful resort with great views! Staff was EXCELLENT! Every single person we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. We loved the restaurant and again, service was superb. We walked to town but cabs are plentiful. Recommend a cab for the return trip. Resort is not on the beach but we enjoyed excursions and the pool. Beach is nearby....

This is our third trip to this hotel and we have stayed in rooms of all sizes from the smallest to the presidential suite. Every room is a delight. The staff is wonderful and speaks English. The restaurant is very nice, not the best in town, but one of them. The pool is great and the view of the bay...

This was our third trip to Zihuatanejo and our third stay at this small, 23 room resort hotel. We love the view of the bay that all rooms have. The setting is totally relaxing. The pool is a gathering spot for guests, and we greatly enjoyed meeting and visiting with other guests at the end of the day. The restaurant...

We spent two weeks at Villa Vera this trip to Zihua. Coming here is like coming home. We have made so many close friends at Villa Vera. Recent improvements include excellent WiFi access! It's wonderful to have. There are now reduced prices and a smaller menu (a good thing!). Drinks are still expensive (in our opinion) but Happy Hour has...

First of all let me say that we arrived at Villa Vera only one week after Hurricane Manuel devastated a lot of the western coast of Mexico. Although the Zihuatanejo area was not affected as much as other areas there was evidence of damage as well as much evidence of how hard the Mexican people were working to repair the...

A short distance from the center of town (15 min walk), this hotel offers superior service, a quiet atmosphere, a good restaurant, and a beautiful pool. The staff is superb! A great view of the bay from most rooms. One of our favorites. The beds are a little hard.
