Stayed the first two weeks of Dec. Very clean and well located. The hotel is on the beach and the views are to die for. This is a older hotel and has the true Mexican charm. the owner was there (Pepe) and this man knows Zihua. Was impressed with laid back atmosphere and 5-minute walk to the center of town.... More

This was our second time staying here, and like another reviewer, I was pleased to see some improvements from last year. The pool has been completely redone and is lovely. The customer service was consistent from last year, which means it is still very good. It helps if you can speak some Spanish (we can). The location is "primo"; right... More

We just completed our second stay at Casa Sun y Moon, and it was much better than last year. The owner was away most of 2008 with a medical condition, and is now back. He is putting money into the property, fixing up many things. The pool has been repaired (I didn't even know it was broken), the rooms have... More

We spent three days in the Sun and Moon, and everything was somewhat pleasant. The room was very simple and basic and the shower made a very weird noise. The bathroom's door lock was broken. The swimming pool and the view were very nice and the shared balcony with hammocks was very confortable and convenient. So far it looked like... More

We were so totally disappointed with this place. It is VERY tired and in need of new paint, cleaning everywhere, it smelled as they had just sprayed for bugs, bad attitude when they lost our reservation. The web site is in no way indicative of how the place really looks. They are extremely overpriced for what they are providing.
