We have been traveling to Puerto Vallarta to for almost 30 years, this restaurant is one of the finest the city has to offer! When you pull up you might be a little worried, because it's just a door on the side of the road, when you enter the restaurant you are transported into one of the most beautiful homes...

We've been going off and on to Hacienda San Angel for 11 years now. Some things have changed (for example, there was no restaurant back when we first started going here), but some things remain the same. Every time we visited, we had stayed in the Celestial Suite. For the first time this trip we stayed in the Presidential Suite,...

When you enter though the front door, the view is simply magnificent. The entire setting is unbelievable ~ a "must see" for yourself to appreciate what this beautiful place has to offer. The service & food were both excellent. The smoked salmon appetizer was delicious. Three people in our party ordered the filet and said it was the best they...

This was my first visit to this restaurant and it was very special. The service was great, the setting was beautiful and the food was excellent. The Mariachi band was excellent and I'd recommend not sitting next to them if you wish to visit. I had a seafood Chili Relleno that was outstanding.

We stayed there for one night. It was an unforgettable experience. The dinner up on the top floor with amazing Mariachi and excellent food was absolutely wonderful. Beautifully designed with antique furnishings and paintings the place feels like a museum.

The food at Hacienda San Angel is nothing short of amazing. It is mid range as far as price, expensive compared to other places in Puerto Vallarta but not by American standards. The menu is offers a variety of options but if you are looking for something 'Traditionally Mexican' the food is not that. I had a stuffed chicken breast...

Everything . . . from a pre dinner cosmo cocktail to the post dinner pineapple upside cake and cappuccino . . . was excellent. A delicious potato leek soup, the absolute best short ribs I've ever had anywhere, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. All in a breathtaking sunset and near full moon atmosphere. Add a bottle of malbec and...

While in Puerto Vallarta last week, we got the Hacienda San Angel recommended to us by some people we met. We decided to give it a try for a fine dining experience. The place is in the middle of the back streets, when we arrived we were wondering where we were but once we walked through the 2 beautiful wood...

The place has an incredible view and a magnificent building and I can say one of the best mariachis I ever heard but..... it was extremely expensive considering the food quality. Nothing sophisticated or impressive, you find better places for a third of what we paid, or even much better places for the same price. I will add the bad...

We were a dozen men who made reservations months in advance to experience PV's finest Sunday brunch. It certainly did not disappoint. The setting is amazing, a beautiful open room overlooking Guadalupe church and the ocean. They do the small details very well - flatware, linens, and fresh flowers were beautiful. I enjoyed the abundance of fresh fruit and salad...
