We had a fantastic stay and hope to return. Our room was lovely, quiet and comfortable, and Ted and Brisha went out of their way to make our trip smooth and relaxing. It was so refreshing to stay in a Mexican neighborhood away from the bustle of the tourist zone. If you're up for venturing off the beaten path, this...

Want a place that is away from the tourist crowd and hubbub of the city? Don't tell anyone but, Ted and Brischa are the perfect hosts to make this happen. I really want to keep this B&B a secret because once you experience this unique place located in the hills above old Puerto Vallarta, you might take my next year's...

Fantastic views await the patient traveller who ventures up the steep slopes to visit Hacienda Las Animals. The hosts, Ted and Brisha are welcoming and kind and clearly love what they do - making people feel at home in their home. The sound of doves cooing sooth the soul as the eyes feast on the horizon from the edge of...

It was our first time flying in to Puerta Vallarta, and we only had a little time there before taking the water taxi for a stay in Yelapa. The hosts of Hacienda Las Animas made this short leg of our trip so easy--Ted picked us up at the airport (he patiently waited well into the evening while we made it...

This place is wonderful! The house is beautiful and well kept, you are just far enough away from town to not feel like just another tourist, but close enough to walk (about 20 mins) and then get a taxi back after all your adventures. We cannot say enough good things about Ted and Brischa, these people have found their calling...

Thank you Brischa and Ted for making our stay the best. Like everyone is saying they make you feel at home and they are very helpful with whatever you need. The house is beautiful and knowing that Brischa designed it herself makes it even more spectacular. The rooms are large and comfortable and the common areas make you feel like...

We found this place at www.vallartabedandbreakfast.com and had the best vacation ever. Ted and Brischa are really awsome people!! And of course Natalie, super sweet "nanny" to the dogs. They pick you up at the airport and from there on they will take such good care of you! We got to see places, meet people and eat local food that...

“We liked Sierra Madre because it was large with two beds. It did not have a view, but we did not miss that, since the deck overlooking the city is just outside the room.”

“I loved having my doors wide open so that I could hear the Mexican music, the singing, the children, distant dogs barking....and yes, the roosters! There is glass on the wrought-iron doors, so they can be shut to close out the sounds of the night....but I loved leaving them wide open. It is March, and no bugs bothered me at all. Felt totally safe and secure with my doors open.”

“The room on the second floor with the ocean view looks like the best. Las Animas room has glass doors only in the bedroom, no screens, so at night if you want to keep bugs out, it becomes pretty warm in there with the doors closed.”
