As a solo traveler, I was searching for a place that would allow me both solitude and the opportunity to commune with nature and with others. Xinalani was a perfect paradise. I lounged on the beach, read and wrote in my journal and had fabulous conversations with other yogis and travelers. From the moment I stepped off the plane, I...

Just got back from this amazing retreat and had a wonderful time with new friends. I have done a lot of travel, most recently 6 months in SE Asia and I must say that I have never had such wonderful service. The staff at Xinalani are incredible - so helpful and friendly and always willing to serve with a smile...

What an incredible experience. I spent two weeks here for an advanced yoga teacher training intensive and the staff was amazing. The food was always fantastic, the rooms were phenomenal (who needs four walls when you've got an ocean to look out at?!). The downfalls? STAIRS. Oh my god, STAIRS. SO MANY STAIRS. Also, if you're considering coming for a...

Just spent one week at Xinalani and can confirm that this is one amazing place. It is so accessible but it feels like a million miles away. From the moment we got on the boat, every detail was taken care of. Arturo and his team went out of their way to make sure we are well cared for and able...

This place is a true gem. It is absolutely beautiful, and surrounded by nature. You get three delicious healthy meals served every day you are there. You can kayak and snorkel for free, and through the resort, you can get special deals on other day excursions. You Have to go to Xinalani!

This resort was a beautiful experience. The facilities were glorious and the open wall rooms fed the heart with tons of nature. Woke up to hearing the waves and went to bed hearing the waves. I felt one with nature with balanced, not too over the top amenities (white linens were great). The architects really thought about every aspect of...

I'm writing this review because I would have appreciated reading one like it before my trip. This place is drop-dead gorgeous and the staff (especially Modesto and Yvetta) ooze kindness and generosity. But the resort is definitely not for the faint of heart. The palapas do not have walls all the way around, much less all the way to the...

Hi Sylvia, Thank you for your review and your visit, we are always open and appreciative of feedback. Xinalani, as we describe throughout our website, is for those looking for a comfort zone outside of your comfort zone. The idea of having an open wall facing the beach add to the sense of openness we are trying to achieve and...

Such a lovely, sweet, playful spot - like a jungle treehouse with charming winding paths and a private beach. Went for a yoga retreat and loved he open-air yoga room - the view is majestic! Even more spectacular than the natural beauty and gorgeous bungalows was the staff! Everyone was helpful, kind, generous and ready with a genuine smile; once...

Technically, it is a group of palapas built on a hillside in the jungle. What I saw was an eco-friendly resort that looks like the Swiss Family Robinson's beach estate. The resort has a capacity of 30 people, so the staff knows every guest by name and makes an effort to genuinely engage with each person (shout out to Arturo...
