This is the 4th and probably last time I will stay at this hotel. This used to be a great, basic, hotel that catered to Mexican and other tourists with super nice staff. Food has always been a bit of a crap shoot but you...More
The location is perfect, but the hotel is just ok. Not terrible, not great. Even though we were there last week (off season) there were LOTS of families with kids. They tell you one pool is adults only when you arrive, but there were kids...More
The location is good, you can walk to many nearby restaurants and clubs, also you can start your walk in the "malecon" from the hotel. The staff in the restaurants is very helpful, and the diversity of the buffet is also good.

Excellent location. Right on the beach. Next to the newly built Pier. Close to lots of restaurants, which is a good thing because the lunch and dinner buffet at The San Marino is not too good. But they serve up an excellent breakfast.

The Junior Suites do not have Wi-Fi. The only Wi-Fi in the hotel is in the Lobby or areas close to the Lobby. I found the best connection time was later in the afternoon. Sometimes in the morning when everyone was trying to use their electronic devices the connection wasn't very strong.
The junior suites do have unobstructed views of the ocean but I don't believe they have been renovated.
The standard rooms with balconies are views of the street and mountains but if you took south from your balconies you have a partial view of the ocean.
The standard views without balconies are inside views of the hotel, pool and the other rooms.
Hope my reply answers your questions. Have a good trip.
