Older hotel with a lot of character. Good location on the Malacon, walk everywhere in the downtown area. Outside noises are loud with music and partners but we had earplugs. Food was excellent and presentation was very nice.

I have stayed at the hotel rosita a number of times. You can't beat the location. I strongly suggest getting an ocean view room to avoid street noise. They have a nice pool and great complimentary breakfast. The beds could be a little more comfortable but it's great for the price

This is a charming hotel right at the beginning of El Malacon. It's unpretentious and has a bit of everything. Right on the Bay, has a small pool, even live music. Perfect if you are stopping off for a few days of all that very busy Puerto Vallarta has to offer.

The hotel itself has very cute rooms. It is one of the only hotels we were able to find with a double bed and two singles. However, the rooms are VERY dark with only a few (4) side lights, one of which did not work. There was a balcony, but opening the curtains gave no privacy as we were directly...

The location was beautiful, the restaraunt was great, awesome food, great view and the service was awesome! We loved our stay at the Rosita, and we would all love to go there again, if we are ever back in Puerto Vallarta.

We did not stay at this hotel. However, Hotel Rosita allows for people to come and use the pool on a "day pass". It costs 100pesos (about $7CAN) per adult, and half of that fee becomes credit for food or drink. This does NOT include the use of a towel, so make sure to bring your own. The pool is...

Loved the quaint rooms with and without ocean views. Safe to be right downtown near everything. The farmers market is just across the street on Sunday and Wed. A great place to meet up with friends and family. Have stayed there 3 times and have another trip planned next March.

I stayed at the Rosita on my first trip to Puerto Vallarta about ten years ago. In recent years, I have preferred, for purely personal reasons, to stay in another location. On this trip, however, I found my accommodations unacceptable and I was very happy to be able to get a room at the Rosita. As other reviewers have noted,...

If you are looking for a Mexican hotel with traditional Mexican decorations and extremely friendly staff without a lot of fancy frills this is your place. They have a wonderful lobby to sit in and relax, a beautiful pool with a lot of seating and a wonderful restaurant right on the beach and at the beginning of the Mallecon. The...
