We enjoyed this no frills, clean hotel last week. Ours had a kitchenette, flat screen and ac. Everything worked properly and the staff is friendly and helpful. There no elevator or pool, not a issue for us but may be for others. There is a lot of street noise, this is on a major street in the romantic zone so...

This very convenient, clean hotel is a special place that is on a bus line with many restaurants close by and just over the bridge to the Malecon and the isla rio market. There is original paintings throughout lobby, stairs and in the rooms.

As a solo traveler, this place was great. Clean, safe, and central, so you can walk or take a bus anywhere. I can see how it could be loud for a light sleeper (from street noise), but it was fine for anyone who is just looking for something basic without any frills. Oscar at the front desk was also a...

Conveniently located in old puerto vallarta. A 10 minute walk to the beach and malecon. There is a supermarket a few blocks away and also a bunch of taco stands set up for the night near the supermarket, perfect for that late night snack. Also located catty-corner is pechugas rotisserie chicken shop. Very cheap eats there! Wifi was decent and...

We really enjoyed this hotel. First, though, you need to know there's no elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful. We needed a room with a bigger bed and they were happy to accommodate. They'll change your dollars to pesos at the front deck. Walk to everything. Very clean. I would stay here again.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at hotel Belmar for a holiday. The hotel is located about 4 blocks away from the sea but we could walk to the sea in less than 10 minutes. The hotel is located near "Isla Cuale" which is exclusive for pedestrians, so you can avoid walking though the busiest streets. The staff is very helpful....

I was pleased with my choice of staying at Belmar. Oscar at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. My room was clean and simple- it had an A/C unit though I didn't need it. I had an exterior corner balcony on the 3rd floor which I would sit out there all the time- loved it. Good wi-fi connection....
