We very much loved this Bed and Breakfast the moment we arrived and set down our bags. The day we arrived we moved over from Casa Lucila, which is twice the price, and our immediate reaction was "why didn't we stay here from the start". The place simply felt like home and the Mexican charm which is through-out the home...

Due to terrible flights, I chose to stay a couple extra days in Mazatlan, checking out of the timeshare resort and moving to the Historic/Arts district of Mazatlán. Immediately the feeling of my vacation was so different and absolutely delightful. The bed and breakfast is beautiful! It's is covered in art available for purchase, and the currency difference makes the...

We had a lovely 6-night stay and very much enjoyed ourselves. Our Carnival King room was great, with a balcony overlooking the breakfast/pool area, and we had another patio just outside our room, where we spent every morning drinking our coffee and enjoying watching the street traffic while waiting for morning breakfast. The staff allowed us to custom order our...

My husband and I stayed a week in the Carnival Room at Casa de Leyendas and absolutely loved it. I particularly loved the old Mexico feeling of the place. I'm not sure when it was built, but appears to be a renovated old hacienda, built around a beautiful courtyard. Breakfast was served in the courtyard with a lovely fountain, small...

Was in Culiacan the past week on business so flew the wife down for a brief stay in Mazatlan. Found this hunting on the Internet and gave it a try. Very beautifully decorated older home, converted to a 6 room B and B. Included hot breakfast from 8 on, coffee available earlier. Quiet, clean comfortable rooms with a/c and ceiling...

Casa de Leyendas is a gem. It is as beautiful as the pictures show. The breakfast is amazing!! The rooms are so clean and comfortable. It's true that the pool doesn't get much direct sun light and is not big, however there are two beautiful decks that you can sit out in the sun and then cool off in the...

This is a boutique hotel one block away from the Malecon and the beach of Olas Altas and within walking distance from the Plaza Machado where all the action is in the evening with many good restaurants. The owners and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The six rooms are beautiful and there are ample common spaces to relax...

Macaws makes a great Margarita one of the best i've had. (OK 2 of the best...) Short 5 minute walks to the Plaza Machado to enjoy all the terrific new restaurant that are...

Nice way to end our stay after several weeks. Great location within walking distance to a lot of activities. Restaurant on site has good food and the staff is very accommodating. We would not hesitate staying here again.

This is a small, privately-owned boutique hotel with only six rooms. Cleanest place I've ever stayed. Friendly, helpful owners and attentive staff with great breakfasts served in the beautiful enclosed courtyard. All the bedrooms, bathrooms and the public spaces were lovely. The location was perfectly placed in the old historic center within walking distance of everything, including the seafront -...
