We own both Grand Luxxe and Wyndham properties, but had never been to Mazatlan. We did a trade through Wyndham and we were pleasantly surprised. My husband's 94-year old mother was with us for her birthday. When I told this to the front desk staff at check in, they upgraded our room to a penthouse on the 28th floor. While...

We found the accommodations quite nice and the people at the resort were wonderful. We did find the daily changes in restaurants for the "all inclusive" confusing. We finally figured out that we could go to any of the restaurants for any of the meals. My biggest complaint was that they charged $55 per week per device for Internet service....

Very friendly people. Great resort on the Golden Coast of old Mazatlan! My second time here and I love it and will come back again. Great pool side activities, like blackjack, bingo, and crazy games, and Spanish lessons too! Say hi to the activities staff, Ceasar, Natcho, Jeorge, and all the other fun and friendly staff that will make your...

We stayed at ElCid El Moro beach resort over Thanksgiving break. We were pleasantly surprised but how beautiful the facilities are. Our room was incredible with a view overlooking the pool & Ocean front. There were 3 pools to choose from that had something for everyone. Our favorite was the end pool that seemed to be geared towards reading &...

I think they need to upgrade their entire way of checking in guest. It took way too long and we were not given the room we reserved until the next day. Overall it was a great stay-checking in not so much.

My wife and I took two of our daughters and their husbands on what they described as "the best vacation ever!" Our rooms, the service, the amenities and the food were all superb. The staff is friendly and responsive. The resort was top notch in every aspect.

Not quite knowing what we were in for (because, really it couldn't look like the picture, right? ;-) we were SO grateful for our accommodations. Bonus was the friendly, helpful and caring staff that we met throughout the week. Great food? check! Plenty of options for family or couples? check! And, yes, the pictures ARE what it actually looks like...

Overall (4 star hotel, 2 star food and service) Even though the hotel is older, staff does a great job keeping the rooms and grounds clean, shiny and very well put together. Service from wait staff at restaurants and pools, however, was not great. We tip when we get drinks at the pool, coffee and juice at buffet, etc...but we...

Our family had a wonderful time at the well kept resort - enjoyed the beach and fantastic variety of restaurants within the El CID complex. Rosie's omelettes were the reason to get up for some ! Smiles were everywhere - on guests and staffers !
