The Riu Mazatlan was good for the price that I paid, but with some changes could rate higher. Food very disappointing as all restaurants at the resort were buffet. Great buffet selections, but food was not hot and too much was prepared too far ahead of the crowds leaving it not fresh tasting. Those that prepared the food tried so...

This place has great staff and great food. The entertainment was not our style, very loud and meaningless. The live band on site was pretty good. We went downtown one day to see Mazatlan, good to see that the place is active and safe.

First time to Mazatlan and stayed here. Beautiful room all ocean view . amazing resort, very clean. The food at the buffet is first class. I personally thought Wow for the price its very amazing. You also can just walk out of the resort and catch a city bus downtown . Mazatlan is very beautiful and seemed very safe. Only...

This hotel was the perfect place to be! I was a little concerned as we always travel to smaller resorts (under 250) rooms. We never felt crowded with people, never waited in line to eat or drink. Room was done early every day. The towel art everyday was something I would look forward to .The elevator was never a problem...

We really enjoyed this property. After reading the vast majority of very positive reviews and finally experiencing the place for myself, I've come to the conclusion that the negative reviewers are either travel rookies or simply forgot where the traveled to. My observations follow. We bought a package that included transport from the airport to the resort. If you are...

My husband and I got a fantastic last minute deal to Riu Emerald Bay and we were so glad we took it! I read the reviews extensively before we left and I would agree with pretty much everything that has been said in general. The hotel is very clean and the staff are constantly cleaning the common areas. I loved...
