I stayed at the hotel on the 3rd week of June and was good because it was not crowned, receiving a good service, the main pool is quite hot, I preferred a warm water, food and beverage are good, the rooms acceptable and comfortable.

The resort looks nothing like the pictures. The resort is in extreme disrepair and very outdated. The beach is very nice but you have to cross a very busy highway to get to it. The first rooms that we checked into had mold all along the walls, the bathroom was disgusting and dirty and the bedding was stained. We complained about our rooms and they did move us to a much better room but still not great. The beds are very hard and the mattresses are very old. There are no hairdryers in the rooms and while they do give you a complimentary bottle of water you have to pay for water after that. The pillows are like sleeping on logs. We had to ask for pillows four times before they finally brought in some softer pillows. The beds just have a single sheet on them and no blankets. We asked numerous times to get a blanket and never did get one. This is the only resort that I have stayed at the issues you a remote for your TV and for the AC unit when you check in. The resort is occupied by locals and lots of children and is not really a tourist destination. We were the only american family there and there were 2 Canadian families otherwise it was all locals. The staff does not speak English so you better brush up on your Spanish before going there. The food is not the greatest and there is absolutely no variety. Basically every meal offered three main dishes, a very small salad bar, a small fruit bar and some desserts. The food was pretty much the same every day. The snack bar is okay but only serves hotdogs and hamburgers and on occasion it had fruit or a sidedish. The only good thing about the resort is the staff was friendly and did try to be helpful. There is an Italian restaurant on site that you can make reservations for and the food there is great, unfortunately it is only open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The other nights are for owners only. The pool loungers are very old and most are cracked or broken and they did not have nearly enough. The pools were okay but really need more cleaning then they had. The walkways are falling apart and are very hard to walk on. I did enjoy not being pressured about time shares and there were no vendors pushing their items on you. The resort is on a very steep hill so if you have any physical disabilities or have a had time walking yo will want to avoid those rooms.

Awful place to take your family to, the room we were put in had no Television, no phone lines, no internet service and had a musty smell in the entire room. The food in the buffet was cold. There was nothing fun about this hotel experience
