First they dont give refunds! So beware. Also the place is run down not like the pictures. I traveled there with my dad who is on a wheel chair. They only have a couple of rooms that are wheel chair accecable. On 2 occasions the ramp leading to my dads room was block and he was not able to access his room. When it happen the second time we asked to cancel the reservation and they refused to give us a refund. We waited hours until 2am in the morning with still no access to my dads room(this was because someone has parked blocking the ram to the room). We were all tired and frustrated and the manager refused to work with us and give us a refund. Management reported they didn't know who owned the card the was blocking the entaremance to the room. They said they would get a tow truck to move the car but that never happend. We decided to leave because we were not happy but still no refund. Becareful when booking this hotel. I thought I was getting a good deal but I guess you get what you paid for and at the end I Iost 3 nights. Dont book this place even if you think is a good deal it will be a nightmare.

If you need a firm bed, clean room, shower, and air-conditioner, but don't care how old or shabby it is, then this is the place for you...because it is old and shabby. It's like they bought EVERYTHING from a 2nd-hand store. 1974 vintage and not in a good cute kitschy way. The staff (Front desk, concierge, and cleaning) is friendly and helpful and tries to make your stay pleasant, but they do not have much good to work with. I will say sometimes they seem to forget that people try to sleep in a hotel and some loud slams and noises occurred. The room is sparse. There is a bottle of water and a glass. a ceiling fan, a mini-split a/c unit, a small table with 2 chairs, a closet with safe, mirror, TV, desk, king bed w/ 3 pillows and some bedside tables. 2 pieces of wall-art, a lockable sliding door into a courtyard that I won't be using. The room is also of decent size. No pest issues. Remotes are given to you at the reception desk upon check-in. Except the television, everything in the room looks to be used beyond its planned lifetime. Other than the shower sliding door track, nothing is particularly grimy, but barely sufficient and well past its prime. In fact, for general cleanliness I'd say this is above average. Shower has good pressure, good hot water, but old showerhead. 2 towels, no washcloth, 2 soaps and 1 shampoo. 1 outlet in bathroom. My bathroom has a cracked/repaired toilet tank and a vent window above the shower that won't fully close. An additional complaint about the room, the curtain isn't wide enough to cover the entire sliding door letting light and possible prying eyes in. Internet.. up and down more than the grand old duke of york. The location is pretty good, I felt safe, it is easy to get to on the "Main drag". Attached restaurant is good, weekend brunch is worthwhile. Sundries shop has packaged snacks, beer, soda, some other small items. I did not try the swimming pool. Overall, I'd love to stay in a different hotel with this staff.

We enjoyed our 6 nights at Costa Brava Hotel. It was very nice and quiet, which is what we were looking for. We loved how close it was to La Playa Audiencia and La Playa Miramar. It also had a nice restaurant and was within close walking or driving distance of other restaurants and malls. We enjoyed the nice garden and pool area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very basic, but adequate.

When alot of hotels may be full this one can usually get you in due to it not being right on the beach but it is on the main drag. the room I had was like second or third floor quite at night in the day i'm out and about buses go right by the front to go anywhere you want cheap. Also if you are going to stay mutiple days they will make deals, it is always better to go when it is not a national holiday. I was there once on x-mas and new years and it was like world war three at midnight but fun to watch from the roof. The people were nice to me and there is parking under the hotel but is limited. Manzanillo seems very safe to me and i've been there many times. If you want views and beach front las hades is nice but a pain to drive up and down the mountain and of course more money, also the area called las brisas is nice and there are many to chose from there. You get what you pay for, if you are going to spend some time in Manzanillo this is a good place to work out of while you are looking for the perfect place to stay for a few months or to explore for your first time north and south of there .

The room they gave us had a noise coming from the bathroom, a constant knocking sound, when I asked for a different room they said that the repair man would fix it. He could not fix the noise and I had to demand a different room. The hotel is located on a main road and it would be difficult to walk to the beach from there, a taxi or bus would be needed. The restaurant in the hotel lacked service, we had to get the utensils ourselves, I got my food but my girlfriend did not and we had to chase down the manager. It's not the worst place that I have stayed but the staff needs much improvement.
