I purchased 7 days all inclusive at Ritz Acapulco. Ocean view room. Fantastic view. The staff is so friendly. Absolutely loved their service. Very warm and welcoming. Rooms are in good condition and very clean. I just love the view from my balcony. I could sleep with the sound of the waves, so soothing. The food is what I will visit Ritz Acapulco for. Every day different menu for Lunch and Dinner. Unlimited food and the quality of food is excellent. Pino was serving our table and he was very nice friendly and helpful. Food is just great with all varieties of cuisines. There are activities throughout the day including kayaking, beach volleyball, aqua aerobics and live show in the evening and live band performing in the evening. Highly recommend to visit this place for excellent service and great food. Worth every dime. My family enjoyed the stay and will plan a trip again just for the food and the friendly service of the staff.

Yes, this is an old hotel and some remodeling would be nice. It’s not fancy at all but the location it’s very convenient. There is noise of traffic of course but just in the hallways not in the bedrooms and that happens when you visit a crowded city In high season. Usually I don’t expect much of buffets and all inclusive services but this hotel overcame my expectations, food was tasty and fresh, drinks were really enjoyable but the one and only reason I definitely will come back next year is the service, every member of the staff was kind, cheerful, of assistance, Special thanks to Gerry in the bar and Dionisia in the restaurant, you are the best guys and the very reason we loved this hotel, the receptionist at the check in as well very kind and helpful they all made us feel really welcome, thank you for a great vacation.

One of not many hotels in Acapulco open now after the hurricane. Shows every night at the pool at 9.30 pm and other activities during the day. They miss menu with the cocktails. Cocktails could be improved aswell as desserts. Staff is very nice.

Staff and waiters don’t seem happy although they do their best to accommodate everyone. The rooms are cleaned really well every day. Hotel needs maintenance as it does seem to not be taken care of, would love to come back more often. Beds could be more softer and phone in my room didn’t work either. Location is very good because of the beach right in front, although you have endless honking on the other side from cars, taxis, buses etc.
No internet in the rooms as they (reception) said were “changing internet providers”.
No service in the beach which is part of the hotel. Staff need to step up their game a bit more.

The only good things to say about this all-inclusive hotel is the employees and the dancers other than that it has to be the worst place we’ve ever stayed. Everything needs to be completely remodeled or fixed. I truly don’t even know where to start with how bad this hotel was. The bathroom sink, the toilet, the shower curtain were old and gross, like they hadn’t been changed or fully cleaned in years and the tub was so disgusting that we had to shower w/ our sandals on. All the towels were old, stained or ripped and were not white anymore. The bedding was stained and the room curtains were so disgustingly dirty that we didn’t want to touch them to open them and it looked they hadn’t been changed in years. The two “restaurants” are both outdoors so no air condition is available which made dinner completely uncomfortable. The food was so so at best, not many options and it looked like whatever was not finished at lunch time they reused it to make a dish for dinner. Lots of flies all over and the cloth that used to keep them from the bread was old and dirty. Nothing looked like it was properly kept cool under such hot temperatures that I didn’t dare eat anything from the bad salad bar they setup each day. The website says they have a snack bar but they only offered some popcorn, chips and something else 2 or 3 days out of the 7 days we were there. The bar by the beach was open maybe twice. The pool was always full and the water cloudy most days that we never got in. The beach, which the hotel is right on the beach was decent but the had very few plastic lounge chairs to lay on and were quickly taken. The alternative were these pieces of foam covered with a blue cloth which looked like those cloths had not been replaced in years because they were all stained. If you’re thinking of staying here I would highly advice against it.

I was looking for a hotel that could guarantee my room has an ocean view and this hotel can do that. Because of the layout of the hotel all rooms have ocean view. That was very important to me. I love being able to fall asleep to Ocean Sounds with my balcony doors open. No need for an app or headsets to listen to Ocean sounds :-)

All you can eat deals are available. Food was good And plentiful.

Location location location. Right in the heart of the bay and next to a shopping mall with a theatre and all kinds of stores and banks.

There are literally dozens of hotels in the area so there’s a lot to choose from but I like this particular spot because it’s close to hospital as well as shopping and it’s right on the beach. There’s nothing between you and the ocean. Actually there’s not even a lobby in the hotel. Ocean front lobby. So between the taxi and the ocean, there is nothing but sand :-)

It’s a very old hotel though. So if you don’t mind little critters crawling up the shower drain, you’ll be ok. .

The hotel service was not good, the attention of the receptionists in the lobby was very rude, I felt like in a jail. The food of very poor quality, in taste as well as in presentation and preparation. Very old and dirty tables. The pool is also dirty. I do not recommend it

This hotel needs major updates and maintenance. Rooms are ok, but things do not get fixed, we had the bathroom door broken for 21 days, we asked several times. Not enough towels and glasses in the room for 3 people, also requested several times.
Pool overcrowded, on weekends especially when local tourists arrive. Very uncomfortable sitting on beach. Not enough variety of food and beverages.
Not enough english speaking personnel for Canadian and American tourists.
Locals staying at hotel very rude feeling entitled and some employees only seem to want to deal with locals. We have been patrons of this hotel for at least 13 years, this will be the last time we will ever stay at the Ritz.

This was a terrible experience, since our arrival, staff not kind at all, not a friendly welcome, not what you are a costume to when you travel. Room was OK, but air conditioning was faulty, as well as the telephone and the shower broke. We reported the air twice with no solution we just made it work how it was, they did change the phone and shower. Food quality and beverages are bad, very few staff was kind and helpful. The security guard had a very bad behavior looking at me and my friend in a very disrespectful manner also made out of place comments and made us feel uncomfortable, these people are not professional at all. No respect to their guests. No beverage service at the beach. At the restaurant most staff had a long face all the time.
I wouldn’t recommend this place, not even that cheap to accept. You are better off spending a bit more for a better stay.
