I stayed there for a weekend and the rooms are comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. The food was fantastic, I tried the waffles and chilaquiles. Definitely recommend! The location was cool in a historic part of the city. I would happily stay again...!!!

I have known La Casa del Barrio since several years ago and have always received good service. I recently visit the place and they have new rooms, more spacious and comfortable and with a new design more contemporary but always welcoming. I usually go there for breackfast and the food they offer is delicious and at a goog price. There...

I found this hostel to be very different from what I'm used to. First of all, the staff speaks no English what so ever. I arrived in the middle of the day and an older guy had some violin lessons in the reception for a local girl. I thought he worked there and tried my best to tell him I...

Despite efforts from the lady taking care of the hostel, she was a really nice person, the place is well below average hostels. The room was incredibly hot at night ,lot of noise from the streets.

I have stayed many times in this cozy hostel right in the centre of Monterrey (2 minute walk from the best museum in the city). The service is magnificent thanks to its owners, JJ and Anny, who are always there to help to organize a walking tour, or a day-trip to some of the nature wonders around Monterrey. The hostel...
