I first stopped at the hotel in 1972 while driving the Baja before paving. The Hotel Oasis was an oasis. I visited the hotel thru the '70s on my way to teach marine science at Los Cruces. I was not able to return until 2016. The surprise. Loreto although larger had still retained its serenity. And, the Hotel Oasis. It...

This hotel is perfect. The only one right on the beach at the south side of town. Older than some, and old decor, but the location more than makes up for it. The property has a restaurant, separate bar and a swimming pool. Great place.

We stayed here during a whale watching trip toward the end of March. This hotel is one of the old-style "Baja-slow" places. It is located on the Gulf about midway down in the town of Loreto. The hotel is right on the water and next to the Malecon....a promenade of sorts....and oozes the "Baja-slow" pace. The rooms are small and...

Hotel Oasis is situated at the end of the Malecon and easy access to the beach. The rooms are modern, clean and generous in size. Staff were very accommodating to to 'gringo' motorcyclists from Canada who spoke only broken and generally bad Spanish. The hotel is conveniently situated on the beach with a large private patio for meals or drinks...

We accidentaly found the Oasis for dinner one night. We took a walk along the water and discovered the patio infront of the hotel was having a buffet. It was packed with diners. Luckily we took the last table outside on the beach. It was Italian ngiht and you created your own pasta sauce from a wide selection of ingredients....

The Hotel Oasis is very conveniently located to a nice beach, the malecon & the old historic district. We were traveling with our dog, and it worked out great for her. She was able to run free on the beach every morning. The rooms are basic but clean, the restaurant served great meals when we were there, a very nice...

After reading reviews was looking forward to staying here, almost booked 5 nights but website would not take my money. I am now glad it didn't. We went in for one night, room was clean but a very basic Mexican hotel. Found most anywhere else in Mexico for $40. Room was $90 plus the cost of a rollaway so was...

the location is great and the service is good. Rooms are very basic, old and walls are so thin you can hear everything from other rooms. The inside restaurant is good and beautifully located on the beachfront.

We spent Christmas there. It is a great location to explore Loreto and the beach at the same time. It is on edge of the old historical downtown. So you can easily walk to restaurants and sites. Recommend the rooms at the far end of the hotel. Also staff and owners were very nice and friendly.
